taxes are paid monthly until they tell you otherwise. go to the link serpentracer posted and do alot of research. dont be lazy on your book keeping. go talk to an account go talk to a bank, see who will rape you the least for your account, and also see who will rape you the least for credit card processing (and trust me you get raped) definitely shop around for insurance, there are better deals to be had with better companies. market your business like crazy dont be lazy with your tax write offs, anything you do that has to do with your business can be written off, keep receipts, get a file cabinet, label folders. if you buy a pen to write with for your business, keep the receipt!! i started being lazy about keeping track of milage.. it adds up and will help you out end of year. dont hose your customers or youll pay for it in the long run. first thing youll need to do to actually become a business is file for an LLC, INC, or whatever you decide. then get your federal tax ID, then Vendors license is next. just do alot of research, alot of reading on the link posted above, and talk to other people who have done the start up. its alot of info at once and alot to take on.

go the extra mile and install bearing buddies or the like. makes greasing the bearings alot easier

I saw this in person at the dealer show. It was kind of a preview before release, and this is an anazing suit for the money. If this had the tpu inserts around the near area it would be a slam dunk.

yes, and youll need a machine capable of editing HD video. my old laptop would lock up, heat up, and then just shut off when i tried editing HD vides. well shit i didnt even get to edit, just transferring them into the program it would overheat. my old desktop would edit, but doing HD stuff lagged so terribly bad it was such a pain in the ass. i basically had to guess what i was doing cause it wouldnt edit smoothly. now my mac works great. editing is actually fun now lol. imovie makes it pretty easy to edit videos quickly with pretty good results. final cut pro just steps up to an entirely new level.

im going to be upgrading to a 48ltr top box. so im selling my current top box. comes with mounting plate and hardware, and keys. it has a brake light that can be wired to the bike as well. also has a built in backrest pad. this is basically a GIVI knock off. it has never leaked on me, and is a damn nice case for the money. $70 obo

im not a stranger to touring, but this will be my longest journey. we have done most of the east coast.. and almost every year we have done around 3000 - 3500 mile week trips. last year, because of time constraints we trailered to colorado, and just road as much as colorado as we could in the limited time we could. we saw alot, but there was so much more to see. we also made it down to sante fe for a day. We have learned to pack light. after 4 years of traveling on bikes you start to understand what is essential and what isnt.
