  4. So I'm not sure if you're for or against them...But what's nice with the throttlemeister is you can take your throttle hand off and let it rest...Flame me if you'd like, but it's nice to take both hands off and stand up to stretch on the open stretches of road when no cars are around. And to top that there's not giant plastic piece sitting on the grip that gets in the way when you're trying to carve corners. I highly recommend!
  5. http://www.throttlemeister.com/ Throttle lock. Such an amazing accessory for slabbing it home from the twisties or that long ride down 75 to Deals Gap...
  6. Seems like a good time to pick up a set of throttlemeisters

  8. So what's the story behind the ninja? How badly wrecked was it?
  9. If it's MMI...Don't hesitate to contact me with any questions on anything in the area. And I hope you get everything you want out of it, it left me a bit disappointed. If it's another school I hope your experience is better than mine in AZ. Safe travels. And find a bike and make it up to Prescott, the roads are awesome. Especially Yarnell Hill.
  10. So I must have missed it, what's he going out there for?

  13. The manual is accounting for the difference then. I normally set chain slack to 1"-1.125" with the rear weighted. I measure at the tightest point in the chain in the middle of the swingarm. With a tape from a pin to the bottom of the swingarm. The extra 3/8's to .5" they state is because they are checking the chain with the rear end unweighted. Both would be acceptable. If you adjust it on the centerstand I would still check it again after you take it off the centerstand to verify it's not too tight.
  14. It's best to have the rear end loaded on any bike. Your swingarm pivots on a fixed point. The tightest spot being with the sprockets and swingarm pivot point all aligned with each other. If the bike is on the center stand and the rear end unloaded the chain adjustment will likely be too tight once you finish and drop the bike off the centerstand and sit on it. I like to unload the rear tire, find the tightest point in the chain then drop my bike to the kickstand and do my adjustment. Brandt, sorry about not calling you last night. My mother got sick and I was with her for a large part of the afternoon after I got home. It was also raining so I didn't really think you'd wanna bring that bike over.
  15. Done both of them. Reverted back to IE 6 reinstalled Java 6 update 13 Ben, it's just Oracle apps. Am I missing something?
  16. IS here at work sucks. So I'm stuck with diag on my computer... Getting a message that the network printer is "not accepting jobs" Printer works with all other apps, except Oracle. Had IE8 installed, but uninstalled it. It appears to me to be a java issue...There was a recent java update and shortly after that is when I began seeing that message... Any suggestions?
  17. If I can get this thing to run here at work. I'll be useless. I am addicted to Monopoly on my phone
