  1. I've talked to a few guys here at work that have gone years past and he said it's actually a pretty good time. There are a few of the type you're talking about, but over-all I guess it's not too bad. I'm not Catholic either and I've always thought the idea of blessing a bike is a bit bogus, but it's worth paying a dollar to get some free food and seeing what kind of bikes are there. Hell if it isn't cool, it was a decent ride to get there, I got some free food and get to have a nice ride back north...
  2. UD Arena (Lot D) May 17 Starts at 10AM Bike show Food Drinks Prizes Entertainment by Full Tilt. Also a bike blessing type ceremony... Sponsored by the Moose Lodge benefits A Special Wish Foundation. All types of bikes... Link to the website Special Wish Foundation
  3. one more..... UPDATE Sun. May 10th 11:28 pm On top of everything else Cory now is fighting pheumonia. Which, from what the nurse says, is common with the ventilators and is why they try to get the patients off of them as soon as they can. They have broken his fever of 103 already. Its down to 102 101 now and his heart rate is decreasing. Also from 140s to 130s. Also, they are trying to water seal his right lung again tonight and if it takes than they can remove his chest tube tomorrow morning. He was so agitated today that they put him back on versa, the sedative, he wouldnt calm down for them today.

  7. UPDATE Sat May 9th 12:40 pm The doctor says he doesn't have a lot of fluid in his lung so they will let that get absorbed by his body. So no need to put the tube in. The other lung still has fluid in and in leaking still they are pumping the fluid out again instead of letting it come out. They lowered his morphine drip from 5 to 3 and his is alot less mobile because we keep telling him not to. The chest tube is staying in for a few more days so is the ventilator. He is responeding and he was rubing my finger. I had him smile! i told him i have his ring on because his fingers are all fat because of the fluids they have going in. hes looks good and is doing good. UPDATE Sun. May 10th 5:50 pm They are slowing the meds down more now and he is becoming more agitated. They need to do this to help get him off the ventilator. Compared to yesterday i would say hes feeling very uncomfortable he looks very uncomfortable. They dropped his morphine drip to 2. They dont plan on doing much today, they were going to do another CT scan but decided to let him rest and settle down instead.

  16. Well actually, the Expedited CNC company is owned by a friend, Steve. That's a long story, but the building has been with my family since back in the 80's. When Tipp Machine and Tool in Tipp City was bought out, Steve came to my father and asked if he could rent half the building for his business...He's since grown and has a larger shop in Dayton. Before he was there we had a race shop in that building for sprint car racing. Now it's a business for motorcyle repair.
  17. Accessories are not something we really plan to push right now. You can go to Iron Pony or even Comp. and beat any price I'd ever be able to get on accessories right now. Service is going to be my big push. I got tired, even before going to school, of the shops that never seem to do what they promise they will. I just want to do the work and do it right the first time. There is not a single shop in they entire Dayton region that I would trust to work on my bike. I've been around to quite a few shops in the area and can't find anyone decent. That's where I saw my opportunity to have a shop. Because I know I can do good work and be trusted to do that by the customer. Suppliers for small business are actually somewhat difficult to acquire... The address is ingenious.... It's 20 s first street, tipp city, oh 45371
  18. It's been discussed...I've had some dyno training. Actually I've got a Dynojet certificate...With an actual dyno and a little bit of time I could do it. Give it time
  19. Alright guys, it's been a long time coming but finally happened. Ever since I finished school (MMI) I've wanted to do something with bikes. I worked at HNW in Columbus for about 6 months, but due to the drive and wages I quit that job. I found a boring job locally, but it's not at all bike related... So after some discussions with my father we have set-up a motorcycle/PWC/ATV repair shop. I've officially had the business for about 3 months and have slowly been acquiring some suppliers for parts. The business is called 20 South First LLC. It's located in Tipp City. Phone # 937 308 3043. E-mail 20SF@swohio.twcbc.com As far as repair goes, there really isn't much we can't do. Anything from oil changes to tire changes to complete engine rebuilds. I have equipment for milling, a manual lathe, 2 welders, a wide variety of hand tools, a No-Mar tire machine, gravity balancer, a 2 ton press, some sheet metal equipment, plus other odds and ends. Finally some pictures of the shop....
