  1. Dont know. You'll have to ask him. He should be awake in a couple hours. He'll prolly check this when he is up. Im bettin he might come out. Im gonna shower and saddle up. Gotta go to the bike shop and stop over at my family's for a while.

  2. No, I'm in. Fuckaswapmeet. I said "I think I'm gonna pass" referring to the swap meet not the ride. I would much rather go freeze my balls off and get some fresh air than walk around in a room with thousands of people looking at bike shit wishing they could ride.

  3. I just remembered about that motorcycle swap meet at the IX center. I told my cousin I would go. I think im gonna pass. I wanted to look for a power commander and a speedo healer.

I saw there was a gun show too. So many things not enough money...

  4. Does he do any work with piping? Id imagine you can pick what the covering is. I dont like that logo on it though. I may be a bit stubborn though. My words on how good the seat feels will sell more seats for him than some stupid logo. I will definetly look into this if i dont re-upholder the seats myself.

So like always it helps to look at the page before you post. That was nice that he put the covers on for you. I thought those were his covers. Thats what i get for not reading posts.

  6. Why not just do the metroparks. Keep it simple? There is less cross traffic to worry about, even if there are cars to get stuck behind, atleast we wont have to worry about people pulling out so much.

We could meet somewhere and go to the metroparks or just meet at the metroparks. Start over by Detroit and the marina and just take the metroparks all the way to canal and then stop for some food. If we arent tired of riding yet we could go do some more.

Maybe Ill try to make a map.

  7. Do you have any plans in the works?

I going to do another ride to the Kinzua Dam in Pa. Possibly a ride to the Grand Canyon of the East in Pa. and hoping to get over to the Finger Lakes region in N.Y. Beside the normal just about every day ride for a couple hours and weekend trips just going South spending the day riding.

You know I was just mapping out a ride out there I wanted to propose to the forum. Ride out 90 then 86 to the start of the Allegheny national park and ride down along the reservoir to the dam then ride back. I went to the dam with some friends of my buddy two years ago but we rode out 422. Id much rather jet out on 90 and get there first then start to enjoy the roads, i was aggravated when we got there and we went right back home pretty much

Id be down for both of those, not not that there aren't good roads in Ohio, but I wanted to go back to PA so bad.

And i have never done the Louie run but I regularly do the other ones Troop rally, firefighters, Ride for the red, Teddy bear run, Fallen officers memorial ride and a bunch of other ones so if theres folks around that like to do that we should hook up. I always go with my cousin and his harley buddies but theyre good people. Some harley riders are crazier than sportriders.

  8. Saturday at about 8 i was in Brecksville and decided to go to my cousins in Brunswick. I rode out on the freeways and it was warm feeling. Left his house at 10:30 started to drizzle immediately and then rain. Got to 71 and it stopped raining, rode back north to cleveland and the temp dropped fast to about 55 degrees and it felt like a ice box, full tuck the whole way home. But it sure feels good to be back on two.

  9. hah.. It definitely could use a power commander and tune and has what i would imagine to be the usual hiccup at ta cruising/ neutral throttle position. Regardless not like she works in the shop, and if she knew enough about bikes to tell if it sounds like shit she would know not to do some stupid shit like that.

  10. If the weather could be like it was yesteday, all year long in the city, I wouldnt mind. Id rather ride cautiously in the wet/ rain for 12 months than ride only when its nice out.. Got to ride a few hundered miles this weekend..

  11. So it was two Thursdays ago. I had ridden to work (with a few missing pieces of bodywork, no front signals and a bike covered in dirt and salt) and afterward I decided to go for a ride in the park. Got to the end and took the freeway back near my house and I was riding down Pearl Road (42) and i'm going probably 30 or 40 in the left lane (No turn lane in the middle) and this black SUV is honking its horn next to me. She rolls her window down and i think she said something, Obviously i couldn't really hear her above the wind noise, bike and helmet but I see she is waving what appears to be a business card. I can tell its a business card despite us both traveling at ~35 miles an hour. I had instantly became aware of exactly who this woman was, what the card said, and was overcome by surprise that she could be so unintelligent. I shook my head at her for a few seconds in a way that i hope said "NO! Are you really that stupid? Really? Are you that stupid?"

She rolls her window up feeling defeated and accelerates away. I just keep on down Pearl road towards Parma. I am making a left onto brookpark and I did not get the turn arrow first. She is sitting a car or two behind me on my right and she rolls her window down (after her traffic is clear) and yells out "Your bike sounds like SHIT!" In a very childish manner I may add. I am in shock at the moment. She turns into the bank on the corner and I get my left turn arrow.

This is the moment when i thought over the options and said "Screw it". I made my left and turned right into the rallys on the corner and then made a left to head in the direction she went. I could see her in the drive through waiting at the bank. I continued past her down Pearl.

Some of you could have been expecting me to pull into the bank and give her a piece of my mind, but this is where i will divulge the real gem of this story. Not only did I know what the buisness card said, but I had gone to that motorcycle shop a number of times. I knew the owner of the shop (her husband) by name and a friend of mine just so happens to live very near him on the same street they do. So i went to my buddies house so that I could tell this woman that I know her husband by name and that she had cost him a customer.

I waited for a half hour. It wasn't worth it, so i left. The following day, Friday, after work I stopped in to tell him what happened and all I said was that "If I was you, I would want to know about that, and I just wanted to let you know" If you are married to a biker, you should know what to do and what not to do around bikes. Thinking that was a proper thing to do is unforgivable in my opinion. He said she had done that before and gets all huffy when people dont take the card. That is the second bike shop that I stopped going to because they pissed me off.

I know a better place to take my tires and wheels to get mounted anyways..
