  1. Do they do tactical situational shooting or IDPA stuff at the Massillon place? I'd like more info. if you don't mind.
  2. Here's the Taurus I picked up at the Medina Gun show. Not exactly a carry piece but still a good used gun.
  3. There's nothing special about one place or the other when it comes to retailers, you're simply looking for the best price and of course there's the paperwork. Gunshows...you might get lucky if you're patient and no paperwork obviously. There were several GP100's at the Medina show a while ago. I can tell you right now that if you're shooting .357 Mags you might as well get a .45 ACP. .40's kick just as much also so if you're thinking the GF won't be able to use it you better plan on getting her a 9mm or something else. My wife can shoot my .45 but she doesn't do it a lot. As long as she understands the guns operates and knows how to properly sight in her target, it will get a hole put in it. As for the GP and exposed hammer stuff, people have been carrying revolvers for a long long time. I wouldn't let that keep you from using it for the CCW. Most places won't even let or make you shot it from the holster anyway (liability risk). It will be out on a bench awaiting the instructors firing range commands, very simple and quite easy. Tell you what...let's make a plan to head to the range. I'll bring the plinkster (.22 Neo w/ Red Dot), the FNP-9, and the PT-145. I'll give you the 9 and .45, give the .22 to your GF along with a little instruction so she know what to expect. Then we'll let her shoot the 9 and .45 so she comfortable and knows what to expect. Hell, if your folks have some land we could just road trip it down there since I could spend more time giving you some safety instruction and tips. Give me a holla when you have some free time. I'll be down in TN this week and get home on Fri. evening. Tell me about it...all I heard was 'GLOCK GLOCK GLOCK GLOCK GLOCK GLOCK'. I was just about ready to tell the dude to go blow his Glock. I have a 2nd gen. PT with the stupidly long trigger pull. Turbo810 recent bought one at B&T in Lorain and what a difference this latest gen. is. The trigger is sooo much better now. I had to take it down to see what was different and if I could upgrade mine. No dice though because the trigger assembly AND firing mechanism was completely different. I might as well just buy a new one.
  4. Yo...I showed you a good carry gun ya goof, PT-145. I picked up a Taurus GP100 for my wifes father-in-law. Stainless with a 4 or 5" barrel (can't remember exactly) old style with out the new safety features (which is more desirable actually). Used at the gun show, no paper work, $350. Nice clean gun, also know that .357's will shoot .38 specials also but there is a hell of a difference in recoil. I don't know if the Medina shows are still going but it's a good place to start for something used. I was at B&T not too long ago and I don't recall them having many revolvers for rent. The guys there are...well...okay. A bit bias towards one brand though...Glock. And if you really want to get a decent deal we should take a run down to Fin-Feather-Fur in Ashland, LOTS of guns new and used. You will most certainly find something there and at a decent price. I won't be home until Friday late afternoon, but give me a call if you want to drive/ride down on the weekend.
  5. What size are the pants? The jacket is the right size. I could use a cheap 2pc. for those spirited southern Ohio rides.
  6. Did your friend call Wally World (aka Walmart)? They usually have stuff and believe it or not it's cheaper than other places.
  7. Shit, I could have fixed that for ya....I've got a Makita and some drywall screws in the garage along with a staple gun. Throw on some Neosporin and you're good to go! You'll be back in action in no time...bang out that rehab and get back in the saddle.
  8. I would not think it'd smell like deodorant.....yet. I'd be more worried of it smelling like ass crack first. I kind of like it but it has zero forward cant which would help you draw from it better. I'm still on the fence with this product.
  9. I don't get it. Oh wait! It's a butt pirate convention or something, note the head gear and earrings.
  10. The Things was a great movie. John Carpenter (no relation by the way) can dream up some wild shit.
  11. A weld works wonders and is pretty much a done deal....if you have access to one.
  12. You're supposed to be investing in the bike....not cagers! Very nice....anything else special about her, i.e. mods etc.?
  13. I got two words for TurboKnobber and Walther_g(otta)s(uck)p(enis).... Justin, we're all here to do the same thing...ride and help out fellow riders in need. Like I said before just give me a call when you're headin' out for a ride and the debt is considered paid. We'll get you out on some real good roads once it warms up and Walther gets his act together....not that RT60 junk either.

    Sunday 4-12

SNIZAP!! I think some one just got pwned. I don't think your tiara will fit his ego inflated melon any way.
  15. Look...if you're looking for a do everything shotgun, and I mean do everything, is so easy to break down to clean, has no stupid o-rings that will rot away, is one of the lightest semi-autos made today, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET THE SBE! I'll prove it to you on Sat. Then you go into Gander and ask them to field strip an 870 or 500 then make your decision. FTMFW!!
  16. Look...just shoot one and you'll realize that you only need to save up a little more money for an SBE. And if you're fondling my goods you better damn well believe I'll be fondling some goods of yours....so the GF better be home!
  17. Benelli SBE II....period. You may now close this thread. (PS - I'll bring over my SBE II on Sat. and I'll let you fondle it for a little while.)
  18. Actually I've been down to the southeastern part of OH on several occasions. I have been around parts east of the Nati also. So yes, anything north of Cbus sucks donkey d!ck. Thread jack over.
  19. You're not right boy.....just not right. Funny....but not right.
  20. The closest I get to Dayton is Adams Co. when I go to see my wife. Also, I need a new suit because I wore the elbows out riding like Ben Spies....NOT! I'll have to work out taking the pile down in the summer and I'll meet ya somewhere in between.
  21. That's a smart idea...so when his GF does it again it'll cost him twice what it will be to fix his HP.
  22. FYI - most of the guys are busy that weekend so they're out. How convineint...bastards.
  23. I had no idea you were a hermaphrodite.
  24. I'm out in DC for work so my replies are not up to snuff...sorry. We can pick it up again when I get back on Friday.
