  1. It's all good, actually I've been to C-bus a few times but don't think I ever had the chance to meet ya. I'm pretty sure one of the guys I ride with on the east side of Clev. did or was going to buy some parts from you at one time (John....aka Turbo810 on gixxer.com). But I followed your builds closely and was always simply impressed with your workmanship, skills, and of course choice of some nice pieces of hardware for your upgrades. You helped a lot of people out over there. Hopefully I'll get down there for a meet soon. A bunch of us are looking to head to C-bus to hit up some roads there like the triple nickle and such. KC Yea wasnt turbo the guy that came down and bought some new wheels of me?I still have some clients here with sport bikes that i still do work for.Slowed down some due to the new house but still like working on them..Who know i may someday have another.Remember chuck from gixxer.com..He was 70 and still rode a 1000... Yup, I think that was John. He's been in and out of bikes for a couple years now, I'm not sure what his deal is. We each bought our '07's together at State 8. He told me the other day he's was selling it, crying about how it "hurts his ass and hands riding it." "IT'S A SPORTBIKE NOT A GOLDWING!!" I told him. There's still quite a few 60+ guys posting up over there, gotta love it. Young at heart is how I intend to stay. I'll come down and let you take a spin on the '07 if you've not ridden one yet....although I might not see it again. Let me rethink that offer.
  2. Thank you everyone for your replies. Thanks again Eagle. The bike is truly spectacular out of the box, handling is notches above my '01, breaks are good but it will get some lines, need to dump the cat and stock cans for something with more tone. That will also drop the added weight Suzuki put on it as well. Obviously then a PCIII and a tune if I can find a reputable tuner close by. I'm still waiting for Akra and Yosh to come up with their full exhaust....and it's killing me to wait!! I have seen you can purchase a Leo mid pipe to remove the cat and then install any slip-ons one wishes. I like the TRC duals but I don't like the chrome. Just looks goofy with almost everything else on the bike black. Oh, and some sliders and a double bubble from ZG. That's about it I guess. I will for sure be getting down hopefully this month. I try to hit you guys/gals up before I head down. KC
  3. Are you looking for clean good platics or are you willing to take some that need a little work?
  4. I guess I'm lucky in the fact that my bike didn't fall in the range of VINs for the stator recall. But I still haven't gotten my replacement exhaust can that was dented when I picked the bike up. Guess I should call State 8 and find out what's going on.
  5. Thanks alot there dick hugger!! And rumor has it your the asshole of not only this board but others as well.
  6. Actually Flounder there is a fix for this issue already. People are being told to take the bikes to their local Suzuki dealerships and exchange them for GSXR-1000's.
  7. FNG....of course. Name is Kevin....friends call me KC, so everyone but Flounder can call me that. J/K FLOUNDER!! I hale from the outer burbs of Cleveland....west sided....Lorain area to be exact. A little about myself....I've been riding since I've had a license to drive, oh about 17+ years now. Recently purchased my 7th bike over that time, '07 GSXR-1000 Blk/Org (check the avatar). Currently employed at the Invacare (worlds largest wheelchair manufacturer) as a CAD Systems Administrator. That's a good start I guess, hope to catch up with some you out there this year. KC

  9. Hey Eagle....glad to see you're doing ok. Haven't seen ya on gixxer.com in forever, and I can see why now. LOL! I'm a "FNG" here as well. Saw Flounder post up a link on gixxer the other day and figured I'd check it out. KC
  10. Oh Flounder!! J/K, new here....came over from gixxer.com per the Flounder. Figured it was time to stop the lurking.
