  1. I did not pry I was trying to cut a zip tie on my kids toy and snapped the super fine point off. Mine looks bts after only six month, finish is worn off blade is beat, point snapped. time to replace it.

Kershaw was using Chinese blades for several years after previously using US made blades. They have since gone back to full USA made Knives. The leek I recently bought is all USA. Wonder if you might of gotten an old leftover.

  2. I wish, but that blade's too long for my comfort as an every day carry tool, and I already have a very nice Spyderco for light camping purposes. Looks like a great deal though!

Certainly can't argue that as I carry a Kershaw Leek serrated for my EDC knife.  For x-mas my wife and I bought all of the "boys" (our sons and their 4 friends) Kershaws.  I was able to find a different one for each of them, all serrated, speedsafe, reversible clips and all right at the 3" blade length.  They loved them!  They were always asking about mine so we thought they'd all like them.

  3. I had a Gen1 version if I recall correctly of the PT145.  Loved it short of a good bit of muzzle jump but that's to be expected with such a short barrel for a .45.  There was a recall on them due to a problem with the poly frame near the rear of the gun at the slide.  Some were found to be cracking and Taurus made them right by fixing them.  Any production models that start with "NV...." were subject to the problem.  Production ended in 2013 I believe on the PT145 but it was a very solid and capable carry gun.

    GLWS!

  4. I actually have a new but mounted Nikon P-223 that was just removed from my son's AR. He decided he wanted to go CQB and didn't want the scope. He never shot the rifle with the scope attached. I'd be willing to sell it if you're interested and we can work out a price. PM if your interested.

  5. I have the ecoboost and normally average 16ish which seems to be the norm on the f150 forums. I didnt buy it for MPG though, I put a tow tune on and it makes crazy tq for a gas motor. Use it to tow the enclosed trailer or my car on an open trailer, would like to pick up a toy hauler in the next year or two as well.

On the highway or average? I have never taken it on the highway without towing something.

I also have the max tow package with 3.73 gears.

We have a '13 F150 w/ EB and max tow...we can get 17-18 with the performance tune.  Usually get about high 7's-8 towing on the tow tune with our Work and Play 21UL toy hauler on even terrain.

Everything I've read and seen says the max tow is worse mpg wise due to gearing.  I've seen non-max F150's pulling shit I know is over the stated rating but I didn't want to take a chance.

  6. Yeah. I don't care about national politics. They're all disgusting at that level. Any that are electable, that is.

My friend, you should care because it's the idiots at ALL levels of our government that are going to destroy all that has built this country. I hate politicians with a passion. There are few that do the real job of representing "the people".

  7. It is a problem. When someone cheats, it cancels my vote. If that's not a problem, then fuck you.

Let me fix this for you..."When someone cheats, it cancels my vote at a local level." At the national level our votes don't mean shit. This is one of my biggest problems with our system today IMO. Voting today has become nothing more than another platform for as assholes (see politicians) to distract the lemmings with.
