  1. He sold it... Oh well. Sorry to waste board space on something that didn't come through. Next one though, "I jump in it."
  2. I love it! They wrote that law with the intent to stop loud pipes on motorcycles, and then it only applies to the narrowest demographic of motorcyclists on the road. Idiots.
  3. Everybody has a Sportser. Not everyone has a Bonneville. Get the triumph. Check it out early in the morning, like they said. That gives you enough time to think about it, secure the loan, come back and pick it up. Besides, that's a hell of a story about getting your bike! I don't recommend leaving a "deposit." What's to stop that guy from selling it to someone else and keeping your money? Morality and decency?
  4. China has gone green and renewable(ish). Maybe it does go west first.
  5. I'd have to go early Indian, Excelsior, Crocker, or a Vincent.
  6. I can appreciate the craftsmanship that went into the first few bikes, but the style isn't for me... However: Or something with the classic square tank/flat track racer look: Now you're speaking my language.
  7. For a few seconds, but the clear feeling afterwards is worth it. It's also helped me stave off colds, strep throat, and the flu. Also Casper: Sinus Buster. Sounds like an infomercial, snake oil deal. It's not. Burns like hell, but it works great. Meijer carries it.
  8. Mine was one of those "never had time to start projects" on craigslist. It didn't have fairings to begin with. I don't think I want them now. Especially since I know I'll lay it down quite a bit too.
  9. Ha. At first I thought this was an insult, and then I saw a photo of your bike. We win the ugly bike award.
  10. No, it was bought as part of an auction lot. He sent me the VIN, and the State of Ohio has no record of it. Thanks for the input everybody, and Hwilli; I'll make a decision this week. If I don't get it, it's all yours to go after.
  11. Early 70s, CB750. Complete, looks good in the photos. Engine turns over. $200. Good idea, bad idea?
  12. I took it for a quick test run a week ago. It runs great. Now I've got to negotiate the Ohio BMV for a rebuilt title, joy of joys. I'll have detail photos up of the front and rear setup probably tomorrow.
  13. Z3D The Roving Dealers Of Death, Destruction And Doom Riders of Death And Destruction Death's Head Project Mayhem Dysfunctional Circu... nevermind Too bad those jerks took "Dysfunctional Circus" that's such a great name
  14. Maybe we'd get more dead terrorists then? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uwOL4rB-go
  15. Fixed it. Let everyone bask in my forum cred. Now let's combine the flame thrower, the fairing, and the scooter together. And maybe we could mechanize the fairing to saw back and forth...
  16. I like the rainbow runner Chevy found. Thanks for the rep, I didn't know I had it turned off, I'll need to fix that. How else will people know I'm an interweb bad ass without it?
  17. I've failed at life Do we have a hari kari emoticon?
  18. I do feel bad about this since we've never met in real life, Kawi Kid, and I don't want to be "that dude" (too soon?) but... It's a Vetter fairing though, so you know it's going to be... Stylish?
  19. Why I believe that's enough to press charges if anything were to happen to anyone associated with the site or the site itself...
  20. "perhaps his shoes were too tight, or perhaps his head wasn't screwed on quite right. But I think the most likely reason of all may have been that his heart (or any other anatomical part you deem appropriate) may have been two sizes too small." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzXKWKaxt3c
  21. Yeah I accidentally hit the post button before I had uploaded pictures, and then the links didn't play nice. Should be all good now. -1 for me
