  1. Except the actual play analysis shows that they are calling the right plays. It just looks odd to fans (key word, fans) because OSU has played against an odd front the first 3 weeks of the season. Execution is the issue, not really the play calling.

    I am not saying they are not calling the right plays, I am saying the players on the field are not executing because they are trying to do everything perfectly, playing like they are afraid of making a mistake and screwing up, not executing because of it. Also losing Spencer and Smith... they are not only great WRs, but they can block like no other. I'd say they will show up for the Western Michigan.

  2. They let Cardale do his thing week 1 vs. VT. He had some bad plays in that game but it never looked like they were anywhere close to pulling him. JT came up in what was basically garbage time. Cardale had no real reason to worry about being pulled moving forward. Cardale has been given 3 weeks of game prep as the starter, getting most of the reps with the 1's, and the offense has gotten worse each week. JT hasn't exactly lit it up when he's come in to save the day but he hasn't been getting the reps in practice and the gameplan has been for Cardale. I think he deserves his shot this week. Give him all the game prep for a week, WMU is similar to NIU (WMU was picked over NIU to win the MAC West, WMU gave MSU a tough game week 1) so it should be telling if JT is the starter this week and all of a sudden the offense clicks.

    The problem is they are trying to execute everything perfectly that they are over analyzing on the field. Granted with 2 new offensive coaches, it will take some time for everything to click together. I'd say just put 11 of your best offensive players out there, pick up the pace and play football.

  3. Also, polls are out. Obviously OSU kept the #1 spot in both. Even retained all of the first place votes in the AP. Bama and TCU flip flopped in each poll. ND moved up a couple spots in each. A&M is in the top 20 in both now. SEC has 10 teams in the AP top 25 and 9 in the coaches poll which is probably warranted. Tennessee smothered Bowling Green limiting the MAC powerhouse to just 550 yards and 30 points. Mississippi State had a dominating 34-16 victory over traditional power Southern Miss which gets the Golden Eagles off to a rocky start as they were hoping to improve upon an impressive 3-9 season in 2014.

    lol... this is a good and funny read

  4. Jive's an idiot, but having spent a lot of my life in the south, I have to agree that the women are generally hotter. Your Columbus fat fuck is the equivalent of a maw maw missing her teeth. Remove those two extremes and compare the remainder, and the south wins.

    EDIT: FOOTBAWWW

    He didn't say south.. he said Alabama. But if you compare Ohio to Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, yes... those states win. But Alabama... really? Well, it could be Mississippi... lol

  5. Also while in Tuscaloosa on Monday the quality of women is much better then I have seen in Ohio. I will stand by my statement last year that Bama women>Ohio women.

    .

    Really doubt that, you really haven't been out much. Ohio girls have all their teeth. Well.. most of them.

  6. B10 East = SEC West

    Ohio State = Alabama (Ohio State is better)

    Mich State = Auburn (Michigan State is likely better)

    Penn State = LSU (draw)

    Michigan = Texas AM (draw)

    Indiana = Miss State (Miss State is likely better)

    Rutgers = Arkansas (draw)

    Maryland = Ole Miss (Ole Miss is better)

    Seems about even to me? You have three draws, one team better than it's counterpart each way, and one lean each way.

    In terms of schedule this year (Ohio State vs. Alabama):

    Virginia Tech = Wisconsin

    Mich State = Auburn

    Michigan = Texas AM

    Indiana = Miss State

    Penn State = LSU

    Rutgers = Arkansas

    Minnesota = Georgia

    Northern Illinois = Tennessee (N. Illinois likely better)

    Maryland = Ole Miss (Ole Miss likely better)

    Hawaii = LA Monroe

    W. Michigan = Middle Tennessee

    Illinois = Charleston Southern (Illinois likely better)

    Not sure I see a huge discrepancy in difficulty between the two.

    I do, Ohio State has to play in the B1G CG, a Playoff game and then the NCG.

  7. Boise State at #5? Am I the only one that said WTF in response to that?

    TCU too low.

    Michigan State too low.

    I predict Alabama beats Ole Miss by about 65 points.

    I saw WTF to Boise State aas well, I went and looked it up.. From what I saw it seems okay, Michigan State should be above Oregon and Baylor.

    1. Ohio State

    2. TCU

    3. Alabama

    4. Baylor

    5. Oregon

    6. Michigan State

    7. Auburn

    8. Florida State

    9. Georgia

    10. USC

    22. Boise State

  8. Who would have been even less able to cover him than cornerbacks. Brilliant game-planning on my part, I think.

    For the record, I can throw a football over those mountains.

    That's why I am going to miss Tom Herman. I always thought some of his play calling on offense throughout the season was questionable... but now I understand that is more due to the inexperience of the players. Vs Wisconsin, Alabama, and Oregon... his play calling was pretty much perfect.

  9. Christ. How we beat that 2002 team I'll never know.

    Well, actually, I do. Ohio State's defense was fantastic that year and played a pretty good game. Miami probably wasn't ready for how good Ohio State was defensively. And, though I don't like to admit it, Miami didn't really play inspired. They came in kind of flat. Quite frankly, they probably felt like they had the championship in the bag before the game ever started. Kind of like how Ohio State did in 2006. When you're that good, and everyone is telling you how good you are and the other team doesn't stand a chance, it's easy to let your guard down. So, it was perfect storm for Ohio State, who was used to playing really close games in which they sucked offensively and relied on their defense to save them.

    The players on the 2001 Miami hurricanes had 17 first round draft picks through the years. That is pretty insane.

  10. It's rubbing off on his staff too

    Smith took the high road by just posting his championship rings, but I would have added a count of "times fired"

    I all I see is... Jedd Fisch: All that experience.... Still not good enough to be a head coach...

  11. My wife(CPA) said that you really don't need a CPA to do No.2 They would gladly take your money and do it for you. It's easy and can be done via quick books or a good bookkeeper. They only reason the price is steep is that you are being charged for their time doesn't matter if is bookkeeper/taxes, financial planning, consulting, auditing and assurance services... etc, time is time. My wife is a CPA and we use turbotax to do our taxes. So if that tells you anything.. lol
