Can you even find one? I don't think S&W makes that model anymore and anyone that carried it either liquidated it for cheap and no longer carries them or wants an arm and an leg for them. If I see anything I'll give you a heads up. You could also look on AR15.com and there are plenty of vendors on there as well and a transfer fee is much cheaper than sales tax.. lol

If you are looking to save money and get the best bang for your buck, buy the lower and the upper separately and save your self the 11% Federal Excise Tax on complete rifles. BTW, I love my M&P15T the troy model. Never had an issue with it

Which M&P15T, there is the troy model and the current model with S&W decided do a ton of cost cutting measures to make it pretty cheap, which I really am not a big fan of. From what I know They Ditched the chrome lined barrels They Ditched the Troy battle sights for cheapo magpul plastic sights Started making their rails inhouse instead of troy battle rails Don't think they are still using LMT semi BCG, they might be making those inhouse as well.

FNP45 is a great gun. I was trying to decide between that and a HK45 a few years back. Shot both, they were very similar and shot great. I went with the HK because I found a great deal on a used one. But if if I were to buy new, it would have been the FNP45 all the way and I'm a big H&K Fan boy, not worth the 300 dollar price difference.

I would go to the range and shoot a few guns first. I wanted something small and powerful for my fiancee to use. But small and powerful = shit ton of recoil and most girls doesn't like recoil. So we ended up getting a Ruger SR22 pistol. She enjoys shooting it a ton more than any other gun we tried, she isn't affect by the recoil as much and started to become very accurate with it. People can argue that 22LR is a bad self defense round. But for a girl that doesn't shoot very much, I rather see her put 10rds of Hyper Velocity 22LR HP in an intruders center mass than have her shooting up the house with my USP40c.

agreed, that's why I was a little confused. Deals like this are always on EvoM and Nasioc. There is a market for them. I was suprised what my STI is worth and how much people were getting out of them. My 06 STI has went up in value in the past 2 years.
