  1. Probably a CYA for the police. They send it to a grand jury, a panel of everyday folks summoned for jury duty. The evidence will be presented, and these people will vote whether or not there is any evidence of wrong doing by the resident. Most likely, they will side with him, but that will be one more notch in the post in case this dead guys family wants to pursue a wrongful death case. Then not only have the police deemed it a justified shooting, so has a grand jury.
  2. Put it on ebay dude, some guy had one of these on an episode of pawn stars, they were willing to give him $100. I bet you could sell it for double that on ebay.
  3. My carry weapon as well, retired my m&p 9, for this. Much easier to carry
  4. :lol::lol::lol: thats funny shit
  5. While you all are busy having a pissy pants argument about the size of your "gun" I will shoot you both in the head with a .22 and see how effective your big gun is after that. Let's get back on topic for the OP. You should choose a carry weapon based on multiple factors. Knock down power is important so the bigger the better for the most part, but how big of a piece will you carry. Lets face it, if it weighs too much, or feels too bulky you will leave it at home and completely defeat the purpose. Buy something you will carry everyday. I'd rather come to a gun fight with a .22 and take my chances than to have nothing at all. Me personally i carry a .380, thats my choice, my gun is comfortable to carry and i carry everyday. I wish i had a larger caliber, but i tried that, didn't work for me. I had the urge to leave it home most days b/c it was too bulky. If you carry a smaller caliber, practice, practice, practice. Be ready to unload a well placed shot when necessary.

  15. So I've been thinking, Pops has gone on to a better place, today i became a father at about 3 o'clock this morning. I was texting Justin, and he enlightened me on a couple things. He said he refused to say RIP regarding pops, because he knows that pops is up there watching over us all. I believe it, the man had a heart bigger than Texas. Justin also informed me that his Dad's middle name was Lynn. We named our baby girl, Madison Lynn. I don't believe in coincidences, i think we have ourselves a guardian angel. Justin i love you like a brother man, holler if you need anything, Robin, Whitey....you too. See you all Friday
  16. yes tyler- its toombs, so is this. Also the voice of reason speaking to you. I don't doubt that the starter clutch may be an issue, this a known problem on vmax's. Recon is right 12.7 v is not very good, and im willing to bet knowing that and seeing the picture that your battery wont recover well from a load test. Spend the money on a battery, see what happens next, sometimes a weak battery will spin the starter but not always have enough oomph to kick the clutch, battery is first priority, never try to diagnose an unknown problem until you've fixed the know problem that may directly affect the unknown. A battery might fix it, but you may end up fixing the starter too. When you come in tomorrow, stop in the shop and talk to Justin Rice, he is pretty on good vmax's and should be able to point you in the right direction good luck

Memorial service will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Friday at 2 p.m. with visitation 1 hour before the service, Chaplain Penny Stacy, officiating. Private interment. You may or may not have heard, Pops has gone to a better place. I only knew Jeff for a few years, he welcomed me to his home back in '07 at one of his notorious bonfires. I felt like family from that day on, he was just that way. Hopefully those of us who knew Jeff can make it, i know Justin will appreciate the support.
  18. That's for sure.....the gun industry is definitely behind the times when it comes to reviews, online feedback etc.

    Equipment

    what's up? I'll post up pics later, i have a nikon d60, stock 18-70mm F4-5.6, along with a 55-200mm f4-5.6, and a extended battery grip. Looking to add a decent flash, and f2.8 zoom lens this year for better action photos.
  20. How do you like the ruger? I originally had my mind set on one of these, and after reading several reviews on both, i decided on the walther. For a couple reasons.....1) it fits my hand very well, the LCP was almost too small. 2) it has sights. Not that you really need them in a close quarters self defense situation, but i was really turned off by the lack of on the LCP. I also heard the LCP tends to jam a lot or have feed issues, have you experienced this?
  21. i just picked up one of these myself two weeks ago. I love it. Easy to carry, and it fits the hand well. I'll have to try this trick with the spring, i had a one hell of a time with it the first tear down. Good luck with the class, and fake rep to you for getiing a ccw.
  22. Yes Sir! I appreciate you guys stopping by. Nice to put a face with a name.
