  1. you guys didn't see this guy??????? Come on....he was the only guy riding with no hands......they were too busy holding tools and a bag of oil dry.
  2. I also heard an example recently where the Oklahoma Supreme Court decided on a similar case, stating that employees were entitled to keep legal conceal/carry weapons in their vehicles while at work.
  3. Jagr is would be correct. We only mount tires purchased from us. The $1 tire tax is charged whether we mount the tires or not flat tax on any tire larger than 12" in diameter. Off Bike Tire mounting is $26 per tire for non tube type tires, this includes balancing. We can do on-bike on the Y.O.C. service dept, $78 for rears, $59 for fronts.
  4. mag- sent you a pm I will take this off your hands if you still have it.
  5. ""But this guy is a professional. Just ask him or the riders that say so!"" Sure he is........but i wouldn't say so judging by his on-track behavior.
  6. That's the difference between Professional and amatuer. A professional photog knows where to be and where not to be, is familiar with the sport, and finds safe positions to take his/her photos.
  7. I would be interested to see this invoice. The only additional fees incurred on tires would be the state tire tax @ $1/tire on any tire more than 12" in diameter. If you have your tires mounted here, we do charge $1.50 per tire if we are disposing of your old tires for you.
  8. Art- you can definitley order online and pick up in the store. Which item are you refering to? We would love to have your business....feel free to email me at ctoombs@ironpony.com. Hopefully I can help you out.
  9. I have a bunch of photos from QSL Bike Nights so far this year....if you have any interest i can send them over.
  10. Jon I will PM you on a lead for him
  11. Happy Birthday Robin. 29 and a 1/2 this year right?
  12. Let me know how many of you guys are coming and what time and i will see if i can't find you all a special "OR" only parking area.
  13. The more the merrier, Saturday is the grand opening party for Yamaha of Columbus (inside Iron Pony) product freebies, music, and free food!
  14. I looked in to this a little more after you left last night. The only thing I came up with, is the guy followed the wrong line in the reference guide. The bike below the C50 in the book is the VZ800 Maruader which does take the 150. Mistakes can and will happen, I will be the first to aknowledge it. Anytime you put a human element in it mistakes are bound to happen. We train to minimize those mistakes and hopefully provide great customer service when something does go wrong. I appreciate you giving us the opportunity to make it right, and being as patient and understanding as you were. We look forward to serving you and your bike in the future and appreciate your business.
  15. I would stay away from maxxis, shinko etc.
  16. "IMO it's a crap tire and not worth any amount." I won't argue with you, but keep in mind the VTX weighs almost 200 pounds more than the suzi. Like I said, for the money it's a decent tire. If it were my bike i would spend the extra $$$ and put a metzeler on it.
  17. Magic- The 404 is Dunlop's replacement for the old Elite line. It's a solid value tire. I believe the actual size on the rear of that bike is a 150/90/15. I don't know that a 190 will fit in there. The 404 is a great tire for the money. The other tire I would reccomend in that price range is the Continental milestone. Hope this helps.
  18. glad you said something, i forgot to look for that when I saw the post last week. Gonna go check it out now.
  19. Flounder- depends on the day. Currently I handle all of our off site events, along with training for both IP and YOC. Been with the co. for over 7 yrs, started out as a gopher tagging merchandise in the back room, worked my way to the parts counter, then purchasing, now this. There isn't much around here i won't/can't do.
  20. We have technically been open for business since December 24th (the state decided that would be a good day to issue our dealer license) http://www.yamahaofcolumbus.com/
  21. When: Saturday April 18th-All Day Where: Inside the infamous Iron Pony 5436 Westerville Rd. Incentive for you to come...free food from 12-3 provided by Hooters. Meet 'N' Greet with Sales and Service department, music and of course lots of cool shit to be given away. Oh yeah..working on Hooters outfits for Nicky B. and Justin so they can serve you all lunch in style. Could be worth the price of admission.
  22. Maybe I should rephrase what I said. Politicians are puppets, you find me one that isn't. Campaigns are funded by special interest, anything from tree huggers to big business. Those folks who can raise the most money, are the ones pulling the strings. Unfortunatley i have lost damn near all faith in our government because of this, it's corrupt.
  23. All this talk about sheep, where are the wolves? A ban on assault weapons will be a cover to ban and/or change regulations on other gun related issues. Watch the fine print when this one gets rolling, i am sure that they will have a paragraph pertaining to ammunition. Obama has suggested before when working in Illinois that all amunition be identifiable. A.K.A. every jacket, and every slug has a serial #. You won't have to worry about buying the weapon, because you won't be able to afford the ammo when the price goes up 4-5 times current rates. Obama is nothing but a puppet, the question is who's pulling the strings?
  24. The reason that FCMC shows case closed is because the prosecutors chose to send the case to a grand jury to seek an indictment.
  25. Pops- Justin filled me in on all of this shit last night. I will get you a letter today. -Toombs
