Thanks, there needs to be more people like you out there, or at least in our district. There are so many parents out there who think they are better than us and better at teaching than us. He got fired because he publicly went against the statement the school and had made and their apology. He should have just stfu and waited it out. That's just messed up to shoot threes and press up until the end. The other team hadn't won a game in 4 years! What kind of victory is that? What did the girls on the winning team seriously take away from that? At least the girls on the losing team get to watch a Mavericks game from Cuban's suite. I say they won that one ha ha.

For the record, our complaint was purely about his behavior. The price wasn't the factor. We knew what OTD meant and refers to, hence our using that phrase. We did not threaten anything in a lame attempt to get the price we wanted. We simply felt like we endured some unprofessional behavior which came across as though they were mocking us. Believe me, we aren't a pair of feminists on our high horse trying to knock the common man down a peg. LOST said it well, it was Scrappy's money and they just didn't earn it. They probably won't earn mine either due to this experience. Yes, it may have been a one time thing, but it was your first impression with us. First impressions make or break. Lizard also made many good points about what salesman should and shouldn't be. I also found it odd that this was brought up "she mention(ed) that the people at Hind's were the nicest she had ever met.." Once again, first impression. I knew people on here had trashed that place for service, but it was on the way back home, so why not just stop and check it out. Our first impression from the place was that we were treated very nicely and nobody joked about a phrase that we said. So yes, they were nice. Will she give them her business? It depends if they earn it, just like any other motorcycle shop. She's not looking to help you make money, she's looking for the deal she wants, just like LOST said.

I wasn't aware that "out the door" was regional slang either until this afternoon when I was informed otherwise. I have heard it used in Cincinnati, Columbus, and Las Vegas motorcycle dealerships where I have personally purchased bikes. I guess it's a big region they were referring to? It was news to me.

It has nothing to do with thin skin. I was there with Scrappy. Both of us got the same vibe from that jerk. Two completely different people in the exact same situation. I'm no stranger to buying bikes. I understand the difference when somebody is a nice, friendly, good-humored person trying to sell me the bike I want and when a person is constantly mocking us for using regional slang. There's a BIG difference. I would like to thank you for insulting our (both Scrappy and my) intelligence and implying that it was our fault we came away from Cycle Search with those feelings of inferiority and humiliation. Scrappy said it best, you must have fit right in.

I would say Carnival games and Boom Blox for Wii. For PS3, I would say wait, because a lot of sweet games are coming out. November is shaping up to be quite a sweet month as far as new games are concerned. I can't wait!!!! I agree on the game trading too.
