  1. Just trying to get an idea on what to expect at next Sundays Import event at Kil-Kare... There are three heads up classes each with several hundreds in cash payouts. However, each class must be filled in order for the payouts to be paid in full, otherwise payouts are cut in half. 8 cars are needed for FWD Quick 8, 8 for Street Class, and 4 for the All Motor class. Are there enough heads up racers in the area to fill these classes? Heads up racer = running mid 12s or faster for FWD and Street, mid 13s or faster for All Motor.
  2. Heavy duty staple gun with 1/4" staples, 6' table, 3 pool sticks, 2 baking pans, steel trash can with lid, cheese grater, 6' ladder, pizza cutter... Any of you all have some of these supplies and wouldn't mind giving them to us for the event?? We can't bring them on the plane. The ladder and staple gun we'll just need to borrow. All other items will be destroyed. Free entry to who ever can help out. Please email me, HybridEntertainment78@yahoo.com Thanks in advance, Cliff
  3. Sorry to hijack the thread, but how far is the speedway from the drag strip? Can spectators watching the drag competition see the drifting from the same set of stands?
  4. Import Face-Off is in two more weeks and as of now, only 3 girls have registered for the Bikini contest. If you or someone you know is interested in entering, please call 225-335-6428 for registration info. Contestants must be atleast 18 years of age. Contestants get free entry into the event and competition. The bikini contest will be at 2:30 in the wrestling ring next to the DJ booth. It's a fun, yet clean bikini contest so girls, don't be shy. smile.gif Event info... http://www.streettrends.net/ifosmall1.jpg http://www.streettrends.net/ifosmall2.jpg

  6. There's no point in having a class with only one or two cars. If you can find enough contestants, email us and we'll see about setting up a class for you. Either that, or make your DSM street legal and clean house in the existing street class.
  7. Sorry, there's no class for that type vehicle. There used to be an awd/rwd heads up class at IFO, but hardly anyone would enter, so it was taken out.
  8. BRING IT! We'll throw some midgets in the back and take pictures
  9. YES! More and more domestics are getting into the drift scene and the crowds are loving it. Bubbadrift.com is the crowd favorate at all our drift sessions down here in Louisiana. Ken Gushi just won Formula D in his 05' mustang at the Houston event last weekend. Yogi, if you haven't already, please email your full name and mailing address to hybridentertainment78@yahoo.com Also, email the amount of flyers you'll need. You can have as many as you want, even thousands. Promoters are encouraged to leave a stack of about 75 flyers at all the car audio and performance shops in the area.
  10. Bring it! It's an import/sport compact event, but domestics are more than welcome to come and compete in the car show, even run test and tune on the drag strip. The drift competition is also open to all makes/models.
  11. This is event is coming up soon and we need promoters ASAP. If anyone would like to make a little cash while helping the scene, please email your name and mailing address to HybridEntertainment78@yahoo.com. Promoters are given a number and get $2 for every flyer that comes in with their number on it. If 150 of your flyers come in, you’ll get $300! Spectators bring in the flyer because of the $2 off admission coupon. Here’s the flyer… http://www.streettrends.net/ifosmall1.jpg http://www.streettrends.net/ifosmall2.jpg
