  1. Come on up for a final shot at Grattan on the 17th/18th. The event is going to be a hoot as it usually is since it is the season ending bash! The upper Midwest staff is a blast to work with and are some of the best coaches in the STT program. All are acomplished riders that have thousands of laps around the challenging Grattan track. Grattan has tons of elevation, off camber corners, blind turns and a long straight! All enough to challenge the best riders, but user friendly enough for the first timer. Not sure, but will most likely run both directions but that is up to the Director running the event. It will be STT's typical three group day with a classroom for Novice group led by a staff with years of experience coaching and interacting with people concerning track day riding and performance riding. If you are a racer wanting to get some time in and need some help, STT has some of the top riders in the region that can assist you in line selection and proper techniques to make you more efficient in your riding and help get a better understanding of what to do at Grattan. If you sit somewhere in between, STT has a ratio of staff to customer that can allow for as much one on one work or as much help as can be provided. They are there for you! Come join us as it should be a great weekend! You can register at http://www.sportbiketracktime.com/schedule2009.html $110 for one day or $220 for two!!
  2. Dude, does Reuben know you pretend to be a Star Wars fan? I'm tellin'! He's going to befriend you now...
  3. He has to be? I'll give credit that designing a bike is a lesson in engineering, but considering the platform and the examples of better bikes, it's not really that amazing... Britten on the other hand? Amazing.
  4. The only truck hauling trailer I have ever slightly worried over was when driving this through Atlanta during heavy traffic hours... It was cake, though and drives like a car... Trailer makes the length a total of 83'... My truck or anything else? Child's play.
  5. Absolutely one of the best and does a TON of the racers out there. Also can make donations via her for the Red Flag Fund which helps fallen racers... BB is good, too but Alexa is one of the top ones out there. Can also do a great deal of custom work to make you different from the rest.
  6. Heard some guys play on here and maybe a few parents with school players... I have two helmet visors from Oakley. These are the real deals and not knock offs. Had the SDF solution, but it spilled/leaked. Both shields are brand new and never used/mounted. Includes hardware. One is clear and the other is smoke/grey. These retail for like $50 each. Both for that amount...
  7. Sure. A lot of guys do. I hate suggesting it as they take a little longer to get heat into them, but a lot of guys do it so...
  8. Here's some pics of the rears... They all have great wear and here's a shot of the wear bar: D Compound #1: $75 OBO D Compound #2: $75 OBO D Compound #3: $75 OBO Medium Compound #1: $50 OBO E Compound: $75 OBO
  9. I have multiple sets, but here's what I got that has lower laps. Willing to sell just rears for $75 or a set (front and rear) for $125. I only have two fronts so... The Med/Softs would make KILLER drag tires. Softer compound so, they will hit temps quicker. Rears are ALL 190/55. (2) Medium/SOFT (D) compounds - 10 laps each (1) Medium/SOFT (D) compound- 18 laps (1) Medium compound (E) - 25 laps Fronts are 120/70 PRC (Triangulated) (2) PRC fronts - 18 laps each
  10. Why rear? Not needed whatsoever... But, if you insist, I'd still buy a set of Goodridge. Take it from a guy who has had brakes fail at triple digit speeds. Good shit is what you want - no name branded stuff may work, but if you were to bet your life on it, I'd figure you'd want something proven...
  11. What size? I have two sets of 120/70 PRCs with 190/55 Medium rears. Both are Michelin Pilot Race...
  12. 1) Pull motor - Send to Reuben for complete refresh 2) Pull forks and shock - Send to Reuben 3) Pull apart entire chassis and clean and lube 4) Assemble 5) Break hearts
  13. $5 more and you know what you're getting... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05-GSXR750-GSXR-750-GOODRIDGE-SS-FRONT-BRAKE-LINES_W0QQitemZ400034455755QQcmdZViewItem
  14. Spiegler x 10000000000000... These lines look like old school lines... There are essentially two sizes. A -2 and a -3. The Spieglers are really like a -2 1/2. They are great lines and honestly, the fittings are the difference. Plus, as mentioned, Mathias supports all of us and is a great guy. If you are looking at opinions on these lines, have you compared them against a basic Goodridge line? They don't seem to be that good a deal.
  15. Eric- If you need it converted to path (what every die cut guy typically uses), I have it already in the computer and can knock it out. Vector is the same thing - it's all path...
  16. Why because they refuse to create a bike that can handle?
  17. Send it to the guy that does Reuben's stuff. Get away from that die cut stuff and have them printed. If you do that, he'll need it in PDF format and I can do that for you, as well... Ask Reuben and he'll tell ya what I can do...
  18. Shoot it to me and I can try and run it through Freehand, Photoshop or related... PMd my email...
  19. It's not a mountain bike but rather a Dirt Jumper like you'd use up at Rays or at a BMX track. A lot of guys have actually been running them instead of cruisers...
  20. Glad to see you enjoyed an STT event. Mark and the folks in our Southern division really do a great job. Was thinking about hitting this one and couldn't. Looks like it was a great weekend.
  21. Wheezle - I do not unfortunately. I have not updated the for sale thread... Sorry about that. Stay tuned, though. I have some others coming...

  22. It's not a BMX or Cruiser, but I have a 2009 Specialized P1 with Deity cranks and a Rhynolite rear rim... If interested, I am willing to sell it as I am looking at another MTB bike instead...
  23. I'm wondering if these are Euro only colors... I am somewhat intrigued by the blue ano frames on the GSXRs... It is somewhat strange that the 2010 600/750 didn't get a redo of sorts. Might have some internal deals done like the R6 did this year (2010)... It usually is every two seasons and maybe they are going to put all the GSXRs on the same timeline now? The 1000 was 09/10 and the 600/750 should have been 10/11...
  24. Actually meant to post a comment as I saw this at the Red Lobster in Ontario a few months back. One of the guys was wearing an Iron Pony pit shirt and thought that was weird in the Mansfield/Ontario area... Anyways, looks great in person and a real eye catcher...
