  1. Some of their stuff looks pretty shitty. Clip-ons look like junk, the warmers are definately shit - ask owndjoo (Drew) about shit warmers. Last MAYBE half a season... You get what you pay for and with such a nice bike, I would suggest Vortex oe Woodcraft for rearsets and clip-ons, Speedscreen, Puig, or Zero Gravity for screens...
  2. Really!? Wow, I am humbled. Please, stop. You make me blush.
  3. Honestly, with Ebay out there and forums like WERA has, getting parts that I need is really cheaper than what I have priced with you guys. I understand the whole worth a higher price as I stated in my posts prior. However, being off by over 2x as what Ebay charges isn't what I'd call worth it. I'll say this - if Magnifest says you all will negotiate and talk over price, that's good enough for me to try again. Do this. Get me a price on the following: 07-08 GSXR1000 -Subframe complete. -Radiator -Tank with front cover - no dents. -Set of wheels. What I will do is if you are higher, show you where I found them cheaper. It will hopefully help you understand where a lot of these guys source those types of things. Now, again... Ebay is a sketchy place for wheels. Everything else? Pie.
  4. By the way, get me Kyle's email... Poser.
  5. Don't you have a Tetris game to play? Maybe wipe your nose or take a poop? Afterall, isn't that what children do? Hard at work. Dude, you are always back there slurping down Rockstars and wondering when the next Days of Our Lives rerun is playing on TV Land... Kids.
  6. Who's this 35 Motorsports guy? Anyone?
  7. That's the spirit!! Demoralize the competition with head games! Love it!
  8. Am working. Entering orders and making calls. Justin said he would be faster in a wheelchair, too. He said pretty much everything competition-wise, he could wax anyone. He didn't say you as he figured it was a given... Kid's harsh, man.
  9. Gotta really suck having your doors blown off at Mid-Ohio by a "gay guy", huh? I was gonna paint it pink so you all thought you were being passed by a girl...:D:D
  10. Hey now... Just because Justin wasn't able to place his WONDERFULLY painted race bike on the floor and I was next in line doesn't give you the right to be jealous...
  11. DAYUM!!! Good slam. He read that and told me that he is cool with your comment. He said it doesn't really matter anyways because when he does ride street, you have to paint a picture of him in your mirrors. He said that was because you could feel like you were in front of him... He's pretty mean spirited that kid...
  12. Oh, and he said he doesn't come on here much because he says that he can't really add much as he knows so much more about riding than we all do. He says he feels to higher up on the food chain to associate publicly with us. So, he just plays games and nothing more. Says it helps him feel down on our level...
  13. He also said something about you like to cry a lot when alone. Said it's what he tells other people that know you. Again, damn kid is a trouble maker!
  14. Yeah, you know Justin. Always talkin' smack behind people's back. It's no wonder he nevers posts comments. He just says stuff when others aren't around. Damn tough guy...
  15. I heard Beaver Shit Brown. It's a PPG colorway... That way, it'll look like a bloody turd on the track.
  16. Slipper clutches are YUMMY!! I got to experience it with the new 1000 I have and I can't understand why I never had one on my other bikes... Old school mentality, I guess. I'm a believer now!
  17. Yup, we get a little edgy, no? By the way, Justin said something about he can't believe how little you knew concerning motorcycles and that he had to teach you everything. He said - not me...
  18. rumors bad. you no getty. me add good input and stuff. me so horny. :D:D In the end, how's this? I think Pony getting MOC would be an EXCELLENT thing. It would cause the other area shops to get their shit in order. I think HNW is the only shop that is close in terms of a quality dealership. The others? Take a look at a few threads and you can see why they are in DIRE need of restructure. Pony's ideals on how to do things is very different than what is typical in our industry. That being said, they can do things based on experience that others are either not willing to do or can't do because of lack of experience. Also, from what others are saying in the Yamaha thread and here, it appears many approve and are excited at the possibility should it be factual. I also believe that they (Pony) would effect the other Ohio dealers. Their reach is beyond Columbus. I think people will drive far and wide to them for multiple reasons. The accessories is a HUGE draw to customers. If they even remotely get the salesmanship and service parts right, they'll have a HUGE customer following. I saw the Hind's advertisement that essentially called out Pony where they said for people to go to the area's largest accessory shop and try what you like on and come back to Hinds and they'd beat the price. Now, I understand competition, but let's look at that. One, Hinds would have to order almost ANYTHING as they carry next to nothing. Two, by advertising that, they essentially violate Advertising Policies to an extent and could get in trouble over that. Thirdly, they don't carry certain items as they are not authorized dealers. Fox, Sidi, Scorpion, Oakley, and MANY others. So, they are really doing false advertising. In the end, it is really a matter of grasping at straws and somewhat sad. This would be Pony's competition - IF they do MOC. It WILL be their competition with Yamaha. Think Pony would even for a minute be worried about competition like that? HNW and Pony will lock horns I suspect on Yamaha and if the rumor is true on MOC. But, I think HNW will maintain a certain level of customers due to loyalty and whatnot. People will stay and people will go. It's the Asks, Hinds, MOCs, and even outlying other dealers that I'd be concerned about as to whether or not they can stay around and compete... How's that for contributing?
  19. What's the ladder you refer to? If it is to hold the cam chain from falling in the motor, get a BIG diaper safety pin from Wal-Mart or similar. You can also use safety wire or zip tye and tie it to the frame somehow. Should you need to remove the cams to adjust the shims... I agree and am thankful you are doing it before it is telling you to do so. Always good to check, but I still bet you'll be good. Hondas are known for being good on valve adjustments. Clutch? I'd go with a Vesrah complete kit. Might as well do the whole kit. If you want stiffer clutch springs, I suggest the Barnett ones. i think they are the stiffest ones I have experienced. I hate them, actually and really like the Vesrah ones or even OEM. Of course, Honda's might be really soft compared to Suzook's... You can get the angled feeler gauges at NAPA. Don't forget to dab some oil on them before you slide 'em in.
  20. Uh, was talking to Zerocrash. Thanks, though for your input...
  21. The thing is that in events like this, rumors can be harmful. He started the thread and pointed out he had friends that were told and that were managers. I prompted him to tell us more and then proceeded to tell him to calm it down in respect to the dealers and employees involved. He could have been a big enough guy and kept quiet. He didn't. He's an adult and could have chosen a wiser path. It's the whole "If I told him to jump off a bridge..." deal.
  22. You are correct, but he's taking info from the shop and letting anyone from Pony or MOC know he got it from inside MOC. that basically can mean two things - he's taking a rumor and making it really exact and either using it to cause a ruckus or two, he actually got info from a manager there. Actually, three - now you saying he isn't at this time, I am suspecting he actually knows more because he works there. Whatever the case, the point I am trying to show is that he's been given privileged information if his info is true. That's a violation on one of the two people involved. Going public is why people make other people sign these things. So, if it does go public, it is pretty easy to find out who did it. Take his buddy at the store he stated he knows. Pretty easy to figure it out who it is on MOCs end, I bet... It's just that while I do have inside info a lot of times, I never violate what is asked of me. I have no clue whether or not this is legit. Wish I did and have asked, but have received ZERO info. Even if I did, I wouldn't share it until it is concrete. I just think it is tacky and can cause issues with people and their jobs with such exact and detailed info.
  23. Reuben is a sponsor to the site now. i think they will get his info up soon. Anyways, the rear can be done as well. With that many miles and the fact it is stock, it could use at least a refresh. However, understand that he can do mild to wild. It would be worth your time to ship them to him. Either hook up with Earache or you can pick up my suspension case and ship your forks UPS. I have a large case with foam cut out to form around forks and a shock. Cheap to send UPS, too! Anyways, if you remotely want to do track events, get them both done and talk with him on your options. Springs to 25mm kits and gas charged units. He's got it all and on top of it, he knows what he's doing, too... Look for his banner in the sponsors section. Or, PM me for now for contact info as I don't want to upset the rules about sponsors...
