I'm in...

I use quarters at the car wash...the key tool is the power wash and then a bunch of other random goodness that will have your bike squeaky clean and smelling like bubble gum!
....oh yeah, no need for that big ass brush.
-
-
As long as it's not 99.9% chance of rain...lol. jk My jacket needs cleaned anyways...
-
not on the street though cause carbon is strong but not impact resistant stong .. one pot hole and your f'd hard as is your bike because your going down... id rather get magnesium wheels...
Ummm BSTs all the way...if you hit a pot hole hard enough to mess them up, you would be in bad shape no matter what wheels you have on! Plus, Mag Wheels are track use only and from what I've seen BSTs can be used for both track and street.
I saw this on Superbikes the other day. Are you guys a fan of the clear rim?Looks pretty sweet on a show bike...I also saw that bike at the Motorcycle Show in Cleveland. It's newer technology that's approved, so If you aren't out doing anything your not supposed to be doing I'm sure they would be fine. hah

The funny thing is, I bet you could talk playerpro153 into doing a ride like this...and then some how he would talk me into tagging along. haha

If water feels like concrete at 100mph, what does concrete feel like at 100mph?
....concrete?!
-
haha nice....so you're the one doing the rain dance! lol jk

i didnt notice any other sport bikes the whole time. we went up 36 to 229 to mt vernon and got 13 from there right over to pony.
Haha seems like we were just taking different routes all over the place....
next time you guys head this way shoot me a pm and let me know ill catch up with you some where.....Most definitely....that was the first time I've ever been up that way and it was a lot of fun. I'm sure with a local tour guide it would be even better.
-
but was any you guys there cuz i got some photos and i wasnt gonna post it up if it wasnt anyone on here lol
I dunno about the other's....
i stopped there on sat and watched a little bit of the stunt show. when i wanted to leave i wanted to head back to coshocton a different way. so i stopped three guys that worked there and asked if state rt. 62 ran into new albany or 161 i was looked at like i was a complete fool. finally i found a guy with a map and sure enough i was right.just thought it would be a little easier to get some info from locals.
Actually the group I rode with might have past you on your way to Columbus or on your way back to Coshocton...we rode 161 to 16 to 79 from newark to nellie and then 79 to 541 to 62 to 161 on the way back.

did you guys do the stunt show on sat
Nope, I went on a ride instead.

Great ride, it's always good to get out of the city for some fresh air! Here are all of the pics that I took...
-
I may roll with McLovin and Nochickenstrips. It depends on when they're talking about riding.
How about meeting at iron pony at 10:30?

Anyone up for a ride on Saturday? I can't go on the Memorial Day ride due to family obligations. So, this ride is a make-up ride.
Shell in Polaris (Next to QSL / WEST side of I-71)
Saturday 5/24/08 @ 10:00
You should be back for later afternoon Bar-B-Que.
Hollar if you're interested so I can get an idea of the type of ride we're going to do.
Cleaner
Nochknstrps and I are looking to head SE for a little Hocking Hills rinding....something scenic and a little twisty. Where do you plan on going?
-
why wouldnt a cop show up? they get paid for it (overtime i think) and they dont have to be out on the street dealing with assholes... sounds like a good deal to me.
Well let's see, might be their day off....might have a doctor's appointment....might even fall asleep behind the donut shop?....endless reasons.
Sorry Harb67, good luck with that ticket!

I didn't realize we were on a photo shoot at MSoC! Well, at least he got my good side (of the bike that is)!!
-
That's just sad to hear any salesperson say, regardless of what they're selling.
....sales is money driven! If you could sell one bike all year for $100,000 more than it's worth because someone is willing to pay for it...why would this be out of line? Just make sure you aren't that guy getting hosed because you chose not to shop around and put in the time!
As far as motorsports...I haven't been to every dealership in Columbus, but what I do know is that they have something you want and you have something they need! Just be smart about your money, if you go in there and they don't give you the feel that you desire from a dealership....then go somewhere else. There are dealerships all around the world!

Good to hear you are okay! Campus area seems to be all kinds of bad news when it comes to motorcycles and stupid cagers. :woo:on upgrades to the bike....maybe even a carbon fiber tail.....hmmmm
-
probably goes to both Strected Swingarm City and the "Warehouse"....without a single turn, stretched swingarm heaven .
Can anyone recommend some good places to ride near Columbus?
Since I've yet to give my suggestion....try hitting a cloverleaf a few times
or your local roundabout....
-
.....It could be worse....you could live here....
-
I liked 78 the most, especially once we go past a couple little towns outside Nelsonville....

Good stuff fellas....sorry I bailed, too. Thanks to nochknstrps' mom, I had a home cooked meal waiting for me....I'm a college student that never goes home, so those are hard to come by!!
