Dude, you cant possibly expect to see in an onboard video what the issues are. You've been on a track before, you know that you cant always SEE the issues from that perspective. What a lot of these car guys forget is the after crash dynamics are totally opposite for a motorcycle when compared to a car. Tracks don't seem to take that into account. For the record: Turn one has a concrete wall close enough that you could rub your shoulder on it. Not too comfy at 160 plus on the big bikes. Turn 2 has an END of a concrete barrier exposed to the rider in the crash zone. They moved some of the concrete barriers, only to leave a 10 foot deep drainage ditch at the end of any runoff area. Hey, if Pergam thinks its safe, good for him. I happen to think he saw a chance to do well with some other riders out of the picture and took it. Kudos to the riders that had the balls to stand up to the AMA/DMG/RE bullshit and walk. The guys that said it was "sketchy" but raced anyway? What a bunch of pussies.

IF the first statement is true, based on the second statement I'd say the first statement was appropriate. If you've been to HPT you'll know that statement #2 above is pretty accurate. Hell, if you listened to any of the other comments you could bank on that too. Its a tough thing when the riders won't stick together on something like this. I remember when it happened a few years ago during a WERA National at Nelson. Bad stuff all around - the riders that left looked like asses to everyone that stayed, and the riders that stayed looked like asses to the ones that left. Nobody wins in that situation.

I dont want to start a new thread, but I've got a question about Opera on my Blackberry... Opera works really well, definitely better than the BB browser that my Curve came with. The only problem is that when I click a link in an email it opens the link with the BB browser. Does anyone know how to get around this? Thanks!

The new regime definitely does not care about the riders. Did you happen to see RE's quote on RRW.com?? According to Roger Edmondson: "The riders are theoretically a temporary fixture. The facilities themselves and the people who promote the races are theoretically the long-term players." I've got news for him - its the riders that put the asses in the seats, not the tracks, and not the promoters. Brian, you and I both have raced for quite some time. If you raced for an organization who's "leader" had this opinion of the riders would you continue? I know what my answer would be.

I went to mini.opera.com right from my curve. Download it, and installed it. Works great.

I dunno, my curve has wifi. I'm with Tmobile and they make you buy the BB Data plan anyway though. I agree that the browser sucks. Can I use opera on my curve?

Jesus...Its $350....for that kind of money, it ought to blow you every third time you use it I've heard mixed reviews on the windows mobile stuff though - you have any problems with it?

I've got the curve. Its a decent phone for email and the like, but the web stuff is a little lacking.

You should know by now that just because the customer says its good enough doesnt mean its good enough. I'd do a little more research if it was me. Really at 500 RWHP you need better fuel control than the PC can provide. He'll also want to look at water injection as well. You might want to talk to RCC turbo, or the dude at NLR for the electronics. Either one of them should be able to point you in the right direction for the secondary injectors.

Depends on what kind of boost pressures you're running. Whats the build on the motor?

What turbo and/or fuel rail are you running? You're probably running out of fuel pressure - what pump is on it? Depending on those answers, it may not be possible to get where you want to go.
