  1. Ive got a set of polk Audio Compnent 3 way ( i think) 6x9's just sitting in my room i need to let go of. Ill get rid of them for like 45-50
  2. Wish i had the cash for the XJ, but bump for some badazz stuff.
  3. might it be the NP207? I know on my XJ the ID tag is right on the back of the case to the left of the output tailshaft.
  4. its and F22A1 which is the only F series in the prelude years, came in the prelude S. the duel cam F22B that puts out 160 is only in japan and is the sister to the h23( same motor just one has a diff name for J spec) Any interest in a part out?
  5. you wouldnt by chance know the backspacing would you?
  6. I agree with the above statement that longer gears are more suitable but even then you have traction issues. I make more torque then i do HP and in my dyno curve torque doesnt fall below HP until like 5250 RPM and i shift at 6200. As far as a B series would go i would use the longer gears to hopefully get you going well enough to keep traction once you make full boost and then you just pull instead of spin. This would all work but so would a shorter geared trans, youd just have to run some kind of stupid sticky tired on the street.
  7. They tuned my car with 10.2:1 comrpession on 13 psi and it runs great( and i dont work there), havent had a problem with any of the work theyve done for me and they sent me to a great place to get my motor work done. They are also the nicest guys that work and run a shop that ive ever met and i have NEVER heard anyhting bad about them. ......Unlike someone else i know.
  8. H22's hate boost just as much as a TYPE-r or a GSR engine because they also have poor rod stroke ratios and are 10:1 compression stock. Most likely any engine you pick for boost has to be torn down and built up in the Honda world. the H22 is basically a B16 head and a larger bored/stroked block, they flow about the same and share the same characteristics.
  9. I appreciate all this advice, i learned how to ride a 4 wheeler on a 91 Suzuki 250R 2 stroke that was basically set up for drag, so it wasnt very good thing to learn on.
  10. Well it wont be the first time on a street bike. I know riding 4 wheelers and dirt bikes wont compare to a street bike but i have been riding a buddies 94 FZR600 and have no problems with riding it. im just looking for something beat up and a little older to ride back of forth to school everyday and go out riding with a few friends here at school. I do appreciate your concern for new riders and your suggestions, its hard to find people who give a shit anymore. I just hope im not coming off dis-respectful in anyway.

  14. I am currently looking for a sports bike as the title says because i ned something to learn on and drive until i can afford or feel comfortable on a nicer bike. Something that needs a little work but i can still ride on the road everyday to school. preferably 600cc or larger Thanks Mike
