Have you turned the crank backwards 6 times to verify you are in time? That is how Honda, haynes, and chiltons say to verify if you are in time.

It sounds to me as if you have it out of time. Which motor do you have in your car? Im thinking its a 1.6l d16y8 or d16y7? To check your timing take a rachet and turn the crank pulley backwards 6 times and all the marks on the cam and crank line up after that you are in time if not try again. Antony I would just put it in your truck like some others have said, with a couple guys you should be able to pust it up into your truck easily. Those bikes dont't honestly weigh that much, so you shouldn't have a problem.
