  1. Exactly what I was thinking.... Congrats...My first will be here next week.
  2. LOL Probably wont be fixed this year. First baby is due anytime and with a new house and completely redoing my bike, the boat will be a winter project now. It will be back out next year.
  3. That is awesome. With a warning like that, maybe you should leave it.
  4. If only I had some land to use this on.....Awesome deal.
  5. I say go for it. Who know when you will be able to ride your bike again and the truck could be something fun for just more then you. I'm doing the same right now with my 51 Ford Custom. I want it safe and reliable on the road, the looks will come second. If I cant take something out and enjoy it, I will loose interest quickly and it will be sold off. My Ford i plan on keeping around for quite a while. That was a little off topic I know, but i think it fits in line with how you think and your idea too.
  6. Looks really good. Nice restoration. Have you thought about painting the inspection doors, or are you leaving them? Either way, looks great.
  7. I hear you for sure. I know that's a really nice unit and certainly worth more than I want to spend. Just a out of my range and needs right now. Thanks though.
  8. PM on the way. A couple hundred at most for the right unit. I remember it up there. How much do you want for it?
  9. Thanks for the link. I did actually see that one and did some research on it. They appear to be notorious for the electronic resistance controller going bad. Apparently its not cheap to get fixed either. Otherwise, I would have been all over it. I think I will stick with the pin style weight selector.
  10. Yes, I have been looking there. Just giving everyone here a chance too. I know it doesn't work as well as free weight, but its better than nothing and better than broken tile. Yes, they tiled the entire floor. Its kind of nice at times, other times not just because its so hard. Super easy to clean though and a great area for the boxers to play. It will eventually come up though or have carpet or laminate wood flooring put down over it. I will get some pics when I get home. Really though, its just like any other room with tile.
  11. I need a home gym to get back into basic lifting. I don't need anything professional grade, just something the wife and I can use in the basement. I don't really want free weights either. She really likes a pulley system, and with a ceramic tile basement, free weights spell disaster. Let me know what you have and a price. Pics would be great. Thanks.
  12. I'm not quite a F3. Mine is a F2 with a 98 F3 tail, seat etc and a 98 front fender. I'm currently getting it ready for attack painter with Hoblick and will post up some pics when its done.
  13. I wish...The baby will only be around 2 weeks then. No way I'll be able to get out of the house for a weekend that soon.
  14. If you can wait until this Saturday, I will come get the fridge. I can paypal you if needed. Let me know. Thanks.
  15. LOL...now I know why you chuckled when you asked if I had seen them yet. lol
  16. haha. No surprise, he deleted it. I called him - of course he didn't answer. I left him a message that I knew he was back in town because of his posting on craigslist. What a coward.
  17. Yes, especially in this case since some of his legal troubles, I'm finding out now, are from receiving stolen property. Thanks for the offer on the ski, I'm not too sure what I'm going to do at this point. I have son due in mid August so that will kinda kill my boating time anyway by the time I get it fixed. So, I will probably just have it winterized for now and fixed over the winter or spring time.
  18. His name is Brian Knight. He is the one that led the restoration on my boat through the several different companies that worked on it, with him doing the engine aspects of it. Long story short(believe me this REALLY is the short version), I bought all new parts for a block he said was "fresh from the machine shop" and he was to build the engine with all my performance parts. The engine was finished in the winter of 07/08 so I could not put it on the lake and test it, but on the hose it sounded great, so I paid for that portion. :gtfo: After that appeared to be a relatively easy process I decided I was restoring the whole boat. All the work the other shops did like the paint and interior etc came out great. Then I decided I would upgrade the electronics and have him do that part. Towards the end of this part he stopped returning calls and made up all kinds of lies about when it would be ready. Then I finally hear from some of my people he is up in jail. This really pisses me off and worries me at the same time since my boat is up sitting in his shop and I have no idea what he is in jail for. I decide I am going up and repo-ing my own boat and having the gauges and other misc things finished up by someone else. Now comes this past Memorial Weekend, this was the first time I had this engine he built on the water. For some reason it would not get up on plane and would break up higher in the RPM range. I this time took it straight to the pros at Total Marine Performance. They run a compression test for me and find water and oil in the cylinders and the compression ranges from around 90 - 150. Now keep in mind EVERY part in this engine is brand new bought by me at Jegs and delivered to him to put in the fresh block. I know that was a long read, but that's where I am now with the situation. For now I am doing the legal process and we will see where that goes. If nothing comes out of it there, I will go retrieve my money. When I found out all of this I called him and his wife claimed he left town after all of his trouble and all of his listings disappeared from craigslist. I'm glad this got posted so now I know he is back - if he ever even left.
  19. Ummm yeah, this is the dick bag that fucked me on my engine in my boat. Ill be getting ahold of him now that I know hes back in town.
  20. I'll make you a good deal on a Formula with a built 350, but low compression - needs to come out and find out whats wrong. I have pics on here - just search my name or send me your email. Let me know what your ball park is. I wasn't going to sell it, but anything is possible.
  21. Hey man, I left you a PM about painting my bike for me. Please give me a call. Hoblick sent me.

  22. Hell, go this route again if he will trade straight up. Get the Camaro back again. If it feels right keep it and be happy. If not, sell it again, buy another Vette, and make another 10K profit.
