Yes his insurance is taking care of it and he did cited, I don't about a court date though.

I went down and saw Justin a little bit ago at the hospital and he's doing ok, as well as can be expected anyway. (drugs are good) The surgeries did go well and he should not have to have anymore at this point but he's got to be completely off his feet for about 6 weeks at least. He'll only be in the hospital for a few more days but then he's going to rehab/residential care facility for 6 weeks or so, since he basically won't be able to move or get around by himself. It was tough to see him like that, especially knowing that that could have just as easily been me or any one of us. He's got a long road ahead of him but he's got a pretty good attitude so hopefully that will help speed up his recovery. Thanks again everyone for your support and kind words.

He had surgery yesterday on both ankles and his hand and it all went well from what I hear. He'll be in the hospital for a few days yet. I'll get more details tonight when I go see him after work.

State Farm is awesome because they go by CC's only, not what type of bike it is. I've been with them for years and they've always treated me right, even after filing a couple claims. I've never paid more than $500 a year for full coverage on any bike, including a new 06 CBR1000RR in 06 and a new FZ1 in 08.

Yeah he didn't try to take off or anything, possibly because he had an R6 wedged underneath his car...

Ditto. From what I understand this was 100% the cars fault and there was pretty much nothing Justin could do.

He was riding to work this morning and a car turned right into the side of him on Emerald Parkway. He's in Riverside hospital with both ankles broken (his left one is pretty severly messed up from what I understand) and a broken hand as well, that's all I know at this point. Again, just keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He's an awesome guy that certainly didn't deserve this, not that anyone does.
