  1. I'm still not quite sure about that myself. The "Update" article mentions a cage, but in that photo -- I don't see a cage, other than what came from the factory. Those A-pillars from the factory are pretty tough. Not roll cage tough, but tough enough for a 200mph crash like that, I suppose. The "update" article also mentions that Gallardo crash that shitty posted too.
  2. Original Link: Corvette in 230 MPH crash at Texas Mile Update: Horrific 230 mph Corvette crash caught on video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtPOI4hkCKA&feature=player_embedded For the car guys on here as well, that don't read jalopnik. Share with your buddies.
  3. This thread can be locked too. I sold this bike over 2 years ago.
  4. These were sold this weekend to some kid from Michigan. Not that anyone really cared, but the mods can lock it up.
  5. I've heard getting your penis inverted is pretty serious and involved operation. Are you going "in to out"? Or "out to in"? . Laughter is the best medicine.
  6. I'm with you on being open minded, and maybe having a little empathy, but I think the way you framed your initial argument is what lead this whole discussion astray. But you also realize a lot of it IS how you are raised. When you're raised to fear guns since guns = bad guys or police, then you have these situations. People are raised differently and have different cultures. That's why I can't hate on jbot for eating cats and dogs because that's OK for him, I'm not here to judge. I'm just here to follow the laws of the land in the country I'm in, try to change the ones I don't agree with, and reinforce the ones I do - which, it appears that's what this guy was doing.
  7. I took mine in Medina, because the price was reasonable, and you use his guns and ammo (.22 rugers). If I can find the guys info I'll post it up. Likwid might have it too, since I took the class with him.
  8. I bet that ruined your bath, huh?
  9. The inside of your mothers unshaven vagina? j/k
  10. KK Escrow at your service.
  11. Is the 400+hp CBR for sale? I'd make the same deal as that TBSS thread. Seller says the CBR is a 7sec bike, for every tenth in ET he's off, he takes $1000 off the asking price.
  12. Ahh, thx . I should've figured it either was from there, or a "bike night" thread... I'll admit I'm not very good at spinning a drum. I bet a lot of you would outride me on a dyno machine, I'm too scared to lean into the corners on one of those.
  13. Hello. Where'd this thread originally come from? I <3 drag racing threads.
  14. I suppose I'll need to listen to this at home, probably not something I wanna crank up at work to hear - unless someone wants to provide a tl;dc(lick) summary beyond the thread title?
  15. I want to hear more about the "series of harmless coincidences" that caused the missed meeting...
  16. How about for every tenth you're off on the 13s ET, you knock $1000 off the price.
  17. Any friend of Black Tod's.... must be as f*(ked up as he is. Word to your mutha.
  18. The overwhelming power of the hayabusa caused rear wheel slip. This is especially troublesome to these owners that want to "mod" up their bikes by cutting the factory welds that keep the steering stem locked in a straight position (to prevent turning), and de-stretching (plus typically de-chroming as well) the swingarm.
  19. This pic randomly came up on the frontpage. I believe it's a sign from god. Parks is about to be smited for bringing back the medivac talk.
  20. I hope he gets banned from all the forums he's on too!
  21. I thought it was "Maybe Slightly Off", as in Shittygxsr, MSO.
  22. It wasn't his crack, he was just holding it for a friend.
  23. ^--- This. As others suggested, check your reg/rect first, then the wires coming from the stator. I fried one of the three legs on my old Honda and had to splice a new wire section in. No problems after that. If those all look fine, do a cursory check of the wiring upstream of the reg/rect, after that, you may be looking at a stator problem. Which, depending on your wrenching skillz may be big bucks to replace the entire assembly, or you can disassemble the stator and troubleshoot/replace just the bad part(s).
