This is one of the greatest leaps forward in computing technology. I'm stoked. You haters are all Buzz Killingtons.
Jeez people, some of the best and brightest people on the planet have worked on this, tuned multiple algorithms, natural ENGLISH language processing and if all you see is "Google + Jeopardy" that's your problem, I guess.
Your motorcycles are just bicycles without pedals. Lame.
Big whooop wanna fight about it?

the clip release on the Ruger LCP 380 is a little suspect.
You ain't kidding, that's my biggest complaint about that firearm. I'm worried something is going to break every time I insert or eject the magazine.
Appropriate term used for Pauly, lest I get mercilessly ridiculed for it.

I'm surprised that's for a CBR, I expected it to be a GSXR ad with spelling and grammar like that.
-
Give me a bike and I can fall off of it a few times for some $$$.

I dunno if prices have changed from last year(check the website), but $12, and you have to have a helmet, long sleeves, long pants, and gloves. No shorts, no T-shirts.
You're supposed to have boots too, but I've seen them let it slide.

Playing a two-game series over three days... Monday-today-Wednesday.
Yesterday was round 1 + background on Watson
Today I assume they'll do double and final Jeopardy + more background finishing game 1
and tomorrow I'd think they'd just do a regular game, straight through w/o explaining Watson.

Just not impressed that a room-sized supercomputer can do that nowadays. I wish I had a job that was pure research.
All you need is a decade of research for almost no pay and a published doctoral thesis... what's stopping you?
The most impressive part is natural language processing. About half the computer is dedicated to that alone. The other half are the algorithms to get the correct answer and check the confidence.

They spent four years tweaking a program to Google shit really fast?
It's not connected to the interwebz.

Norwalk "Summit" is a fine track, but your lucky to get 2 or 3 runs in on a normal night...I have seen nights were you get 1 and that is it.
1? You don't come early enough then... I can get 5 or 6 passes in a row if I'm there around 5:15 on Wed nights.

Wow. I dunno how I wouldn't handled that.
I'm sure the vast majority ride without cameras, and it's not like you can get your cellphone out and call the cops with full gear on trying to chase a hit and run suspect. I'd feel helpless.
I think I'd chase the guy first though, worry about the cops later.
This is another upsetting video post.

When did we elect professional trollers?
-
I won't see it until 7:30... you get future TV.
-
Are you sure it's a gun? I don't see an M&P logo on it.
Anything else is just a colorless Roman candle.

IBM’s Watson Supercomputer Set to Take On Jeopardy Champs
http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/02/watson-jeopardy/
I've been following this for months, but it starts tonight. 7:30PM.
I'm rooting for the computer, and let me be the first to say, I welcome our self-aware mechanical overlords.

I'm just going to stay in my house, holding my guns.
I plan on paying all future debts.... with lead.

I'm sure you could add Grand theft motorcycle to that list of charges.
You dont think one of those homos offered up his own bike for that lame stunt do you?
^--- This, is also a likely scenario
-
^-- and thanks for finding that video for me. I didn't have time.

Boo!! Guns!! You should take your metal death piece and stay off the internet.
The second amendment isn't even about guns, it's about bear arms -- because people used to hunt a lot of bears.

do we know where this took place? Seemed like a pretty run-down city to be that empty during daylight hours (not that a Clevelander should make such an observation...).
Hellforleathermagazine.com said Iowa, IIRC.

I didn't watch with audio, but there is some swearing, so NSFW?
I also assume this was done illegally...

I wouldn't... but to each his own. Happy birthday.

Bumping this for new ad, with pics...
1987 Honda CBR1000F Hurricane Parts (Cluster / Fairing / rear stand) - $40 (westside)
http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/2212769555.html
I have a few parts I removed (and replaced) from a 1987 Honda Hurricane CBR1000F that I no longer own, so I'm just trying to get some of this stuff out of the garage. These parts are by no means cosmetically perfect.1) Gauge Cluster
*I think it's got just under 10,000 miles
*Speedo has a crack across it (it's readable and was functioning when I took it off 6 years ago, but the crack was annoying to me, so I replaced the entire cluster)
*I think one or maybe two of the mounting tabs are broken as well (see photo)
Make Offer
2) Belly Fairing
*Previous owner had obviously tried to repair it with rivets, epoxy putty, and sheetmetal cross brace. Fail. It will bolt to the bike, but will be sloppy on the underside. I don't recall if it's got any rash on it or not.
Make Offer
3) Tail Section Plastics
*The big U-shaped tail fairing that the rear tail light mounts into.
*It was also replaced by me for a better cosmetic piece.
*The tail section has a repaired patch on it.
Make Offer
4) I also have a spare rear stand that I'd like to get rid of, but I'm asking $50 for that alone. I have no idea what brand it is. Not really part of the Hurricane part deal, but since I'm posting anyway, I'll throw it out there.
I'll take additional pictures if you want of any of these parts. I'm just trying to get stuff out of my garage. I don't know what they're worth in the condition they're in, so no reasonable offer will be refused. $40 for all of them would be super. These parts aren't show pieces, but would be good parts if you absolutely needed a replacement piece to get by until you find that perfect boneyard piece you are looking for -- or you really don't care about cosmetics. Some people are function over form, I respect that.
Shoot me an e-mail via the contact at the top and I'll reply ASAP -- In the subject line, put "HURRICANE parts" ('HURRICANE' in all caps, 'parts' in all lower case -- this is my poorman's captcha system). I'm on the westside of Cleveland. Prefer pickup or local meet spot, I really don't want the hassle of shipping these parts.

I just hope the checkpoints are at least a 1/4 mile apart
(Ohh, and FTR because I just noticed... that tree graphic is wrong. Top yellows are "Pre-stage", second yellows are "Stage")

<--- nice avatar HD guy
You can pee on them when you see them at bike nights, because when they're stopped is the only time you'll get close to one of dem derre rice burners.
