  1. I got stopped in Lodi on the way home. Seems someone complained that there were a couple bikes racing in and out of traffic on 83. I was riding by myself and have no idea what they were talking about. Got sent on my way without a ticket but I should expect the Highway Patrol to contact me about reckless operation. If I find out who those two bikes are they are in big trouble.

  2. This is always a Wednesday night option.

Very similar atmosphere to Bike Nights

    1. Other machines to look at
    2. A lot of BS-ing
    3. A lot of waiting
    4. Greasy food
    5. Greasy people
  3. He was down at MidOh a time or two last year on his HP4.  I'm sure you were on track with him that day John.

I first met him at the drag strip on a Wednesday night out at Norwalk - he brought his crew out there.  I was told he did IT stuff for a living, but he's definitely not afraid to drop coin and he surrounds himself mostly with friends that drop coin too.

  4. My busa senses were tingling.

I see there is a lot of dissatisfaction about your purchase.  Let me try to make things right.  How about I trade you an '03 for it, straight up?  Or I'll trade you an '03 WITH prop rod, for yours plus cash... from you.  Or, just the prop rod - $13,000 obo.  I will personally guarantee that it was not touched by any 'grease monkeys', ne'erdowells, or generally anyone of the 'lower caste'.  All my technicians have a minimum of two Masters degrees, 3 patents, some coursework towards a PhD, and all graduated at the top of their night-school culinary classes while attending Harvard Law, to make sure I only sip the finest Kopi Luwak brew and feast on fois gras whilst in their lobby lined of leather-bound service manuals.

    Help me, help you.

  5. STG is still running this 2-for-1 deal on Hotbodies.  I don't know if you have to get the SAME body kit or not... probably need to ask.

I'm POTENTIALLY mulling around getting the SV1000/s650 race set, if this is the route I decide to go, I'd wonder if someone wants to go in with me??

  6. All set for Autobahn's south course on 9/1. Looking forward to trying out a new track! jrmmiii, get your shit together! and if the others are interested in that day, the more the merrier!

Yea, I know... I'm still trying to work out scheduling for the day prior.  It'll be a crazy weekend for me to work in Autobohn.

I'm also trying to get a feel on whether to prep the SV (safety wire+ Shakskinz/Hotbodies), buy a track-only piece (looking at 600s, but would consider anything), or try to work a rent/lease deal out with a "you wreck you buy it" caveat.  It was much easier when KTM prepped the RC8Rs for me :)
