  1. Really? No ones posted it yet? I'm disappointed in all of you. For posterity
  2. Riding can't be reduced to economic equations. The primary advantages are intangible, the economic benefits are just a positive side effect.
  3. I do like the jack rocks idea. It's just property damage afterall -- they tried to take your life.
  4. I'm pretty sure BonkerS and I both fall under "this generation"... I dunno, I may be on the cusp.

  6. This isn't a Husky? My bad. Proceed with the sale of goods. But if it was a Husky.... how dare you.
  7. The first thing I would totally do is take advice from this guy -----^^^^
  8. Can't be any worse than my Hayabusa or SV could it? As long as it's not a plank of wood, right? Or is there something I'm missing that you're all gonna laugh at me for later Either way, I'm your huckleberry.
  9. HD puts their steering dampers on the back, eh?
  10. How much to rent your Kymco from you? I'll return it w/ a full tank and wash it for you too if you'd like. I just wanna try out a scooter dammit! The closest I've been was a Twinstar or the little Honda ZB50 my dad still uses as a pitbike.
  11. Why did you even buy this if you didn't have the room to let it roam and play? Now you're asking everyone here to buy you out of your mistake -- you should just GIVE the bike away if you really cared about it. I'll take it and give it a good home, but if you think I'm gonna pay you for it, you're crazy.
  12. That takes care of most of my issues, but I cake on the foundation. I digress... 5'10" 135lbs You should worry about getting food before you worry about holsters! But seriously... what kind of gun do you have? Full frame you're probably looking at an IWB or shoulder for the best concealment. If you have a compact, you could get away with an in-the-pocket holster if it's small enough. Thats where I normally keep my LCP.
  13. It's never too late to be a huge douche Jagz
  14. Someone should totally put that video in it's own thread and have a discussion about it!
  15. Meh... I still dunno. I'm a huge douche with a bunch of bad karma racked up and still don't have random weirdos deliberately trying to make me a pavement pancake. That's why I have trouble thinking there isn't more to the story. Assuming they're sober and not 'off their meds' people typically just don't randomly attack others without provocation...
  16. ... I think there may be more to this story... What did you do to make him 'deliberately' hit you?
  17. Hmmm.... definitely shopped. Found the original image
  18. I think it was our Good Friday ride last year that UP passed a guy w/ his wife heading N on 83, I was #2 bike. UP must've agitated the guy because he pulled the same move as the truck driver in the video as I went to pass -- I wasn't pushed into the ditch as bad as the rider on the video, it was more of a quick swerve across the centerline and swerve back to 'get my attention' I wasn't pleased. The idiot might've pulled the same move on Tpoppa too... I dunno if that was the incident UP was posting about or a different one, because I do recall having a chat with the highway patrol that day.
  19. What? Now you have limits?

  20. I don't see it as a victory pole so much as it's a list of people that probably don't have the communication skills to be on socially interactive sites on the interwebz. See, it was all kawikid's fault, like I said all along
  21. Only on Sundays, religious holidays, and when I'm the lone white guy in the room.
  22. Thanks. I'm gonna run a few tanks worth of 93 in it just to be safe... but that's what got me in trouble on the Hayabusa. I grabbed some 93 out in bumf*(k nowhere (DTC Castle ride) and I after I got home with the issue I was reading how that's a bad move since most people in the middle of BFE don't usually get the 93, so it sits in the underground tanks for a LONG time -- you're better off filling up with 87 and not riding the dog piss outta the bike since the 87 gets refilled more often. So, now I've been boned by 87 and 93 octane in two different machines.
  23. Or, you could wait until you get calloused man hands and not worry about how the grips feel since you can't feel them anyway.
