Very true but I dont want to buy a new camera ever time I want to upgrade. I would rather buy a camera and be able to grow with it. If I spend 700-1000 for a camera in 2 years I dont want to get a new one.

Did you install the cooling fan? We only did 250 mi. last Sun and over heated I dont think you can do 500 mi.

I need some camera input pros and cons. I have always had the small Canon PowerShot style cameras. Do I need SLR. Looking at Nikon D5000, Olympus Evolt E520 and Canon EOS 50D any help would be great.

Nothing beats going down to the Great Lakes Bar on Market Ave. in Cleveland. They sell it by the gallon right at the bar for take out and it tastes even better than the bottled beer.
