Just be glad that you don't have Insight. That is the ONLY provider I can get where I'm at and it sucks. I had TW at my last house and never really had any major issues. I work 2nd shift, so I'm ususally up kinda late. In the middle of the night, the box will reboot; every night. I called them one night and she told me it's normal because they are updating software. I said "Every single night?". She said "Yeah. Anything else I can help you with?". Ugh!!

I've been told several times that I should write a book because of everything I've been through. I was thinking about doing so and was going to title it "How I Met My Mother", but then shortly after I thought of that, the sitcom aired called "How I Met Your Mother". No lie.

In the short, I was raised and adopted by my great-grandparents. I met my dad when I was around 10 or 11. I just found my mom about 4 years ago. I don't really talk to my dad anymore because his current wife is a fucking bitch and rules him like no other.

I talk to my mom at least every other day. Her husband is the coolest and I already consider him more of a dad than my dad ever was. I will be sending him a father's day card and won't even bother giving my dad the time of day.

Anywho, my great-grandfather died when I was 15. Since he was like my dad, it was an extemely difficult experience for me. After that, I became pretty rebellious against my great-grandmother. Her and I fought quite a bit. She passed away about 1 and 1/2 years ago and now I regret how I acted toward her during my teens.

 

For those of you youngin's out there, please, treat your parents with respect. They won't be around forever. They might have been tough on you while you were growing up, but it was for your own good. No matter what you think, they DO know more than you, and they know what is best for you.

Sucks for you cause it's nice to have options.

It doesn't take me long at all to obtain more options. I always have something else in the works in case one option falls through.

I can't believe you guys have had so many problems/issues with McCoy's. I never had problems with him. I had my last truck lifted twice and he did an excellent job.

I got a tonneau cover from him for my current truck. I priced around local stores and all over the internet to find the best price. I then called him and he beat that price and installed it at a reasonable price.

Girl #1 is extremely busy with work right now (so she says), so if we do get to go out, I will try to get pics of her.

Girl #2 (aka The Lying Sea Turtle) is 22.

Girl #1 is 25.

Because she orginally TOLD me that she has a house with land, garage, lift, and seemed excited that she would be able to get me a hook-up on car parts. I guess she was trying to impress me so that I would call her. Then when she came over the other night, the truth came out. Hence the reason she is not being invited back.

Would love to get in on this, but I don't even get off work until 8pm.

By the way, update on girl #2. She did come over Saturday night. I decided that she wouldn't be worth my time. I found out a few things.

 

1. She does not have a house; her parents do.

2. She does not have a garage w/ a lift; her dad has a 10 car garage with a lift, a boat, several cars and motorcycles.

3. She is NOT into cars; they irritate the hell out of her.

4. Her voice is whiney.

5. She does not like watching Buckeye football. This is a HUGE turn-off for me.

I was thinking about this earlier. Gift giving would be a freakin nightmare simply because she would be able to buy me hella expensive gifts. I wouldn't be able to do the same for her.
