  1. Well, I guess a mod can close this up. I've purchased everything I need. I was quoted around $800 to do the job: Front inner and outer tie rods and both front shocks & springs. I got all the parts for $268.56 and will be doing this work in my garage after all the parts show up.
  2. Well, the assembly kit is not available. I have purchased both front springs. I still need 2 front shocks.
  3. I have spent a good part of the day looking for these. This is the best I can come up with: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index.php?p=page&page_id=part_picker&make=Honda&model=CRX&year=1991&version=2DR%20HF&transmission=KL5MT&system=PARTS&component=FRONT%20SHOCK%20ABSORBER Can anyone here beat this price? $110.98 each; includes spring, shock, and all misc hardware.

    Tie-rod help

Just purchased an entire set of tie-rods with free shipping; inner and outer for both sides for a total of $33.99. Not bad considering the local stores wanted $89.96 plus tax for the set.
  5. I need to replace the front shocks and springs on my CRX. I want OE style equipment. Lowering springs are easy to find, but do not want. I am having a difficult time finding stock replacements. Help, please. 91 CRX, 1.5L, D15B2 Thanks!

    Tie-rod help

I'm planning on replacing both the inner and outer. Might as well while I'm in there, and I can get the full set on the cheap. I need to replace the front shocks/springs on this thing too. However, I'm having a hard time finding OE spec parts that aren't ridiculously overpriced.
  7. Don't wanna look. It'll just make me depressed.

    Tie-rod help

How do I check the inner tie-rods to see if they need replaced?
  9. I was told the tie-rod needs replaced. Is this in immediate need of replacement? This is new territory for me so I am clueless. As you can see there is a little movement when I wiggle the drum with my hands at the 3 and 9 position. I do not notice any slop or vibrations in the steering while I'm driving. I'm posting from my iPad so if the link doesn't work look up my username osusully69. The video is titled crx tie-rod. http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=byVd4jGd52M Thanks!
  10. Off topic question: Out of curiosity, what shop is that? EDIT: I'm almost positive that is Fantasy Cupcake. Love that place!! Sorry to hear about her shop though. Can't wait until she reopens!!
  11. So what you're saying is that this is a REPOST!! Good job, pendejo!

    Google this

I'm using Firefox. Result was not the expected result. (I read what was suppose to happen)
  15. Talk to Marc (AngryBMW) and get pre-approved. Call Carole Bentley: Keller Williams Consultants 614-389-4404 614-937-3339 carolebentley@kw.com
  16. A lot of good responses here. I may try it with one car and see how it goes.
  17. Anyone ever bought a car then sold the parts and made any money off of it? I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a little extra cash by doing that. It's just an idea I've been toying with. Thoughts/opinions welcome.
