  1. Someone I work with was called up for Jury Duty, but they thought they weren't registered, so this bought up some questions. I haven't really found my answer via google, so I figured I'd ask the mighty CR.

How often do you have to register to vote? If someone registers when they turn 18, when does that person have to register again? For what reasons would a person need to re-register?

  2. getting ready for the races? :)

Ha. No. Just need to be able to lift vehicles with a lot more ease than with the stupid scissor jack from my truck. I hate using that thing. I refi'd my house and have this month and next month mortgage-free, and this is also a b-day present to myself. :D

  3. Anyone have the coupon for the Harbor Freight Floor Jack? I want to pick one up this week. Thanks.

As an added incentive, whoever can supply me with this valid coupon this week, I'll trade you one of these:

  4. I think its funny that the one person that cares the most about the cat is a douchebag that wanted to shoot a human because of some snow.

And if he cares that much about this cat, maybe he should take it in.

John, there's a barn behind my house with ground hogs and mice in it. I'm sure they'd get along just fine. You know where I live.

  5. I know we have some financial experts on the board and would like to hear some opinions on this matter.

I have a card that has a credit limit of like $32,000. My balance is never above $5,000. The only reason it would even go that high would be from traveling for work and then work reimburses me. I've never asked for my limit to be raised, they just raise it automatically.

Would it hurt or help my credit score if I had the limit decreased to say $10,000?

Or would it do nothing to my credit score if I had it lowered?

Should I even bother with it?

  6. I don't understand why they were removed. Someone complained. But, what did they complain about?

    Edit: Found the article.

The McCaffertys and at least seven other residents of Radnor Green and Ashbourne Hills received letters warning them this would happen. Police and Delaware Department of Transportation officials say their hoops, angled toward the street, violate the state's Free Zone law, which prohibits hoops, trees, shrubs and other objects from being within seven feet of the pavement's edge in subdivisions.
