  1. I'm confused about something and hoping someone can explain it. On ESPN.com, I look at the rankings and see that OSU is ranked 2 in the AP Poll. I then look at the schedule of games for tonight and it says Oklahoma State at (2) Texas. :wtf:
  2. Same here, twice, right and left side. Above pretty much sums it up. What ever you do, I hope you never have to sneeze while the stitches are still in. OMFG!!!!!!! Andvi hope you're not driving if you do sneeze. Horrible!

Other than that. Let your body recover the right way and I was back in the gym in 7 weeks.

I had to have the same incision opened up a second time because it somehow got infected. My doctor told me that if you have it on one side, chances are you'll get it on the other side at some point.

Oh gawd. The sneezing or coughing was the worst.

  3. I had an inguinal hernia a few years ago and lived with it for a little over a year. It was painful from time to time. When I had my surgery, they cut me open, put a patch over it, and sewed me up. I was down for 3 days and then was only able to lift 10 or so pounds for several weeks. I know that's a different hernia than what you have. Your doctor should have told you what to expect though.
  4. I have well water and a water softener in my house and love it. I only have to refill it once every 3 to 4 months. But, that's mainly because it's only me in this house. With a house that has 3 to 4 people, you'll probably have to refill it once every month, maybe 2. I have noticed though that I still have particles in the bottom of my glass after I fill it with water and let it sit for a bit. I have been thinking about adding a cartridge filter to the system to help sift that extra grit out.
  5. I am in Chicago and I haven't seen this much snow in years. It is really a blizzard. I hope I can fly out on Thursday. I bet the plow guys are rolling it in.

    :nopics:

  6. I watched a transformer light show around 9:30 last night on Winchester Pike just as my power went out. Came back on around 1:15 this morning. I had just built a fire in the fireplace when it came back on. It had hit 60 degrees in the house and I wasn't sure how much longer it'd be out.
