I need to have a new garage door installed. I need new tracks, weather stripping, rollers, springs/cables, and door. I am wanting an insulated door without windows. The door is 18x7. How much should I expect to pay for a new door installed? I had a company come out yesterday. I have never priced doors, so I don't know what to expect to pay. They gave me an estimate of $1,800. A couple people I have talked to about it seems to think that's about twice more than it should cost. But, I don't know.

That's what I was going to suggest, which is why I asked. The term re-homing fee is used in place of "selling". You're basically wanting a small fee to cover some expenses. You're not selling the dog, you're just recouping some expenses.

I did it about 3 or 4 years ago on my old house. I bought it for 177K-ish, when I refinanced a few years later, the mortgage company appraised it at 150K. I called the Franklin County Auditor's Office. (I didn't know the paperwork was online). They mailed me the papers, filled them out, sent them in. A few weeks later, value was dropped. Payment went down and even got some money back for "overpaying" taxes. Do it!!
