glad u had fun man. Wheelies are fun,but the popo will give you a wreckless opp for even a 2" wheelie. Track days do not allow wheelies and or stunt cages.

Hell yea!!!! Its such a freeking fun weekend. I have not missed on since 05' and will never miss it ever!

Just remember that 90% of riding is in ur head. If the bike problems are there and u KNOW it you will be all kinds of nervous and will lose focus. I would say FIX all the problems with the 7 and ride it. The 10 will be ALLOT of bike to attempt to go fast on and if u throw it down then u will have 2 broken bikes. Deff hit the track with the 7 till u learn how to track ride. How does a chain skip? front or rear sprocket has to be bad or the chain is MEGA loose? BTW i run a 15.2 at putnam as my best. I had sweet baby jesus time me.

yea the 06+ gsxrs have stock slippers. I also avoided the slipper for a year or 2. One time on the track with one had me sooooo sold! They are a must have if u want to go fast. I can see 0 reason for one on the street?

The guy that fixes our heavy equip re-builds them all the time on the cheap! What is the make,year and tranee code? I will ask him. he prob can do it for at least a couple hundo cheaper than anyone else and he is good. PM me if u want more details. He is i cincy though...

I have a hard time with all this. I use K&N on everything also. I just dont understand how a better flowing filter can hurt. But like it was mentioned i never keep the bike long so i never worry about filter changes or cleaning either. EVERY race bike i have bought had a K&N or another aftermarket filter. Who knows unless you dyno it in the exact same day at the same temps and blah blah lol. If nothing else the K&N is cool looking(not that u can see it).

have you rode a 750? Or a 1000? The newr they are the lighter "feeling" they are and they get skinny too. With $4000 u can at leat get a 04+ gsxr. Are u in a hurry to buy or do i have time to look?

Man whats ur budget? give me a couple days to locate u a good bike. If it were me i'd deff get the 04 750. Just because it will handle better and have close to the same power of an 01 1000. I really really think u should get the newest model u can afford.

the c-clamp with one of the feet pulled off will work! Or put a BB(as in BB gun) in the rivet hole and clamp down on it.

I hate when crashes are a mystery!!! I'm guessing it was something with your suspension? Looked gentle at least and a easy fix.

what happend? lose the front? how? Cold tires?
