easy way to check coils is to switch them around and see if the dead cyl follows.

compression is probably fine. Could have a bad coil. Check all injector plugs. have u personally filled the tank with fresh fuel recently? Thats my next guess is bad fuel.

With a fully charged battery `12.4V and revving to around 5000RPM is should be 14.4V. as long as it raises above 13.5 it should be fine.

Charge battery over night and give it another try. These years have HORRIBLE stators and rectifiers. Also battery's can go bad at any time and cold seems to bring it out of them. The ECU needs full power to control fuel injection and fire coils.

I don't think its oil. These bikes have horrible charging system and when its not charged weird things happen.

These motors are HARD to kill!!! Wonder if there was/is coolant in it at all?

The video looks slow. In the car it felt like 10000000000MPH lol. IMO those little cars rock!! Also this video was from the school portion of the program and we were limed to 80-90 mph on straits. At the end of the day we did OPEN laps and i think i saw 110mph on the back strait.

being that it is a shadow it should be fairly easy to replace. if it does nothing either the cable broke or fell off the mount on the carbs.

I have seen a bike with stripped plug work for 1000's of miles. They just used a aluminum strap to hold the spark plug cap down. I was shocked when they had me do a tune up and said to put it back that way its "fine" lol. to this day bike is still riding!
