Well i have to join Liz here. If you can buy the extenders you prob should be able to put good valves in there instead. As for a machinist making extenders that may cost a ton more, but I don't machine.. I offer up things I have seen and tricks of the trade. Either way u win with GSXR lol
The fork extenders are deff nice! You deff pay the price for them. The geometry loves them down farther than any stock parts allow. I have seen a handfull of racers mill the center of top tree 5mm and it gets u that much closer. I have never felt it to be unsafe at all? The machinist that did one for me said there was plenty of meat on the bone because that center pivot point was overly strong while the outer parts were the weak link. Either way you deff want to get those forks down and ass up!
She is in surgery now. She is one strong girl. We had just installed new brake lines and pads and complete re-build of her brakes. They were in HORRIBLE condition and were like fresh and new for this ride.
Once the LEO got to that open road and started slamming gears I even smiled lol. Loved how he could stop and look then easily real the car back in. He is on the perfect bike for the job IMO.
Did u open the drain bolt on carb bowl to see if there is fuel in there? Also idid the "new" tank come with the petcock? Why did u switch tanks? If its a new petcock I would use the one off other tank.
TL=Ticks loudly. They all do it. Mine has had a harsh life and valves are still in speck at 25,000 miles. Its on avg $150 to check and $25 a valve to shim + parts. I bet you are ok,but i would need to hear it. What kind of oil you running?
