  1. Bit late to the party but I have an S6...same thing as s7, different body. My stock turbos blew because the oil screen was clogged. Went RS7 turbos/stage 3.

Motor mounts are known to sometimes go bad. They're electronic and work with the cylinder deactivation to prevent vibrations.

DSG mechatronics and sport differential issues are less common but something to be aware of.

Other Audi's have came and gone, but the S6 is in the "keep, not for sale" pile.

  2. Anyone else finding this constant media/social pushed narrative of white supremacy strange?

The Atlanta shootings sparked a huge conversation over Asian hate crimes (even though there is no indication the shooter targeted the women due to race, that we know of yet). Well, something odd was showing up in the data. The media was telling us it was white people committing racist and violent acts towards Asians, but the arrest records show that’s it’s actually fellow POC that are being arrested for violence, hate and murder of Asians. Was the media just saying “hey, this is a problem!” But not wanting to highlight the perps of this hate? I honestly don’t know the answer.

Another strange thing that happened is when you use the definition of “mass shooting” according to the left, the data looks very convincing that it is not white men committing mass shootings. Now, I will be the first to state their definition of mass shooting is intended to show as many as they can to justify gun control, but the reality is it’s showing how few white people are involved in that definition of “mass shooting”.

Do I find it strange? No, it's to be expected now. Boulder shooter (and previous shooters) had all these reporters and Twitter "blue checkmarks" saying "oh see, another white man bla bla bla racism". Then it turns out it's a black man or a Syrian immigrant. The Asian thing also turned out that it had nothing to do with racism, but the dude has a sex addiction problem.

I know all too well where this is leading to. White people are evil racists, therefore we can make it harder to get them into universities, harder to get a job, harder to start/own a business, harder to get financial aid, harder to own property.

Filibusters are also racist now, it makes Jim Crow look like "Jim Eagle" - Joe Biden

  3. On paper I'm a normal dude with no real criminal history. Hit me with one really bad day and I'll go on a spree with a smile. How do you prevent that?
When you have your bad day, do you choose a soft target (school, mall, etc - "gun free zone") or do you go where someone might shoot back (gun store/show, NRA meeting, police station)?

  4. This is just like, my opinion, man, but I think you just might be choosing to selectively ignore some big chunks of reality here bud. I think you're also stretching the realities of what did happen to include some things that really just didn't.

That's the problem, isn't it? Because I think the same about how you are seeing it. Perhaps a proper investigation, due process, would have been a better way of handling this. Nope, just a shameful piece of political theatre.

  5. Can you offer an example of the potential "misuse" of this precedent moving forward? I'm afraid it's lost on me. Am I a big 'ol dummy?

Impeaching the President merely for being on the other team or disagreeing politically? I stand corrected, no issues there.

I thought it was pretty well documented fact that it was planned well in advance. Seems pretty foolish to suggest that all the people gathered at the capitol in the short time between when Trump spoke and when the capital was "stormed". Is this new information for you or what? I don't understand the "which one is it" commentary. Just looking to poke holes in the credibility of the allegations I guess?

Literally the first result that comes up, noting the December 28th tweets:

I was fully aware of Trump saying he wanted people to come protest on Jan 6th. We have the right to protest, we do not however have the right to breach security and destroy/steal property. In his speech that day he specifically said "peacefully" march to the Capitol. When people started storming the capital (a small group - "mostly peaceful" as the left would say) people across parties condemned it, including Trump. He told people to go home.

You have all these articles talking about how people are planning to protest on Jan 6th, not a single one says that Trump is inciting violence before it happened. No, just like those who think Nostradamus predicted 9/11, where were you on 9/10, where were you on Jan 5th?

Still waiting for the outrage from the left whenever they protest and violence breaks out. Pelosi, AOC and others supported it, where is the outrage there?

  6. I found this entertaining. They wanted their little show, they got it, now they'll have to live with the future consequences this will bring.

    The precedent has been set.

Newly elected Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) on Wednesday said she plans on filing articles of impeachment against President-elect Joe Biden on his first full day in office next week.

  7. Trumpism is a cult. It needs to be squashed.

You are, or at least coming off as, a hypocritical, authoritarian asshole.

    This is fine:

Only thing that needs squashed are the criminals in the streets and in office. We need another Abscam but fat fucking chance now. The person that wanted to drain the swamp has been impeached twice now.

"Trump incited the violence" but also "the attack on the capitol was planned weeks in advanced". Well which one is it? Doesn't matter, impeached within hours without any hearings.

  8. They have already stated with the 2a and they aren’t even in power yet.

You don't understand and just paranoid. They haven't ever taken or chipped away at gun rights (94 was just for lol's, besides, it wasn't renewed), and no matter how many times they promise to ban online sales, limited magazine capacity, limit the amount of firearms you can own, "hell yeah we will take your ar-15" won't ever happen.

If you don't mind, could you also stop saying things I don't agree with? Go start your own CR...and hosting service. Now let's put everything behind us and unify, you stupid redneck.

  9. Elected officials are all about power and they are going to do whatever they can to keep their power and keep their party in power, customers be dammed.

failed experiment in having a non-political person try to run a country.

Trump failed at getting the corrupt career politicians out....oh well, let's hope Beijing Biden, the plagiarist, the liar, the racist, the corrupt, the creep will do better. Fingies crossed!

  10. I'm not digging it back up but a few pages back or in the original thread I linked to a 2016-2018 whatever article published by the American dental association stating that masks during procedures did very little to stop airborne viruses however were effective at stopping large droplets like spit etc. This article was written in response to concerns about the viruses of the early 2000s such as SARS whatever.

The interesting thing about Covid 19 is that it's technically not airborne, it's only considered to be spread through droplets.

    https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/more/scientific-brief-sars-cov-2.html

most infectious disease and public health experts reserve the term airborne specifically for use in the context of airborne transmission to describe infections capable of being transmitted through exposure to infectious, pathogen-containing, small droplets and particles suspended in the air over long distances and that persist in the air for long times.

Available data indicate that SARS-CoV-2 has spread more like most other common respiratory viruses, primarily through respiratory droplet transmission within a short range (e.g., less than six feet). There is no evidence of efficient spread (i.e., routine, rapid spread) to people far away or who enter a space hours after an infectious person was there.

However sometimes these pathogens can sometimes, under special circumstances and very uncommon spread via airborne transmission. Special circumstances:

Enclosed spaces within which an infectious person either exposed susceptible people at the same time or to which susceptible people were exposed shortly after the infectious person had left the space.

Prolonged exposure to respiratory particles, often generated with expiratory exertion (e.g., shouting, singing, exercising) that increased the concentration of suspended respiratory droplets in the air space.

Inadequate ventilation or air handling that allowed a build-up of suspended small respiratory droplets and particles.

My wife is a dental hygienist and considering that they are working in a high risk environment, they have had 0 employees infected and has had 1 or 2 patients come in that tested positive shortly after. I believe this is true across the board in dental, very low cases especially considering the high risk environment.

They don't only wear masks, but also face shields.

  11. You don't have to hear it from the "lefties", you can hear it from Republicans themselves. This was of course from back when logic and reason still sorta mattered to the majority of Republicans.

Republicans call people their running against all kinds of things the same way Democrats do when they run against other democrats. Politicians are mostly full of shit and corrupt. Tale as old as time...

It's a swamp out there folks, bring your duck boots.

  12. I don't feel that I actually have to provide examples for Trump's improper behavior, as that's been well documented

Oh good, then you should have no problem coming up with proof

but some highlights would be infidelity and paying off porn starts, multiple alleged rapes, possible money laundering for Iran and Russian oligarchs, real estate fraud, Trump University, stealing money from a cancer charity, asking Ukraine for the investigation (yea, I know some of you still think that was legit), withholding federal aid from states with Democratic leaders, his association with Epstein, the Central Park 5

I'll give you that he probably did pay off a pornstar. But just like Clinton's BJ, who cares? It's between him and his wife.

Alleged rapes that never went anywhere, so no proof there.

Possible money laundering, Russia, Ukraine...years of investigation found nothing.

Stealing money from cancer charity is such fake news that even snopes says it's false

    https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-steal-kids-cancer-charity/

Withholding federal aid from states who just stood back and let rioting and looting happen.

Knowing Epstein doesn't mean he did anything wrong, lots of people knew Epstein and we're photographed with him including Clinton and Bill Gates.

What did Trump have to do with falsely convicting people for a crime? Not shit.

    Opinion pieces...

Trump rallies have turned into QAnon rallies as well, and he has done nothing but fuel those crazies. Trumpism has taken over the Republican party, and the party is broken because of it. Within the Democratic party there are a range of positions/viewpoints people have on issues, and there is discourse and debate within the party. Within the Republican party, if you step out of line with Trump you are pushed out. There is no (or very little) middle ground in the party any more. The extreme right is taking hold, and many long time Republicans have gone silent or fallen in line when Trump does something they don't agree with. They have no balls.

  13. ignores all improper behavior from their dear leader, endorses racist tropes and fascist behavior, let me know.

  14. then why did we lose the Senate and some House Seats?

Yeah, if I murdered my son then why is my daughter still alive?! Debunked!

Why is Trump continuing to ask his base for money to fight so-called “election fraud” when 50% of it is actually going to retire his campaign debts?

    No one cares lol

  15. Ha! Listen to the nut case, who called for a beheading of one of the most trusted medical figures in this country.
