Not critical of Dems for using "Easter Worshippers", but why not use Christians? Would the family of any of the killed/injured victims be so offended that their beloved was actually an atheist that was at the wrong place at the wrong time?
If it wasn't for this thread, I wouldn't have known about 8 Dems offering condolences on social media anyway, so I'm not that riled up.
This one particular thing certainly isn't anything to get riled up about. It's just strange, and like you ask, why not just use Christians?
For me though it's just another tiny pube on the ever growing pile of pubes.

It just looks like they've gone out of their way to not say Christians so much that they invented a new term. It's not like it was just one person either, the whole gang of them used it.
It's fine, all that has happened in the last year or so is that their true colors are showing, and a historically left-of-center/center person like myself will not give them my vote.
They're obsessed with calling people racists, even when it has nothing to do with race, in this case it's religion, but they are the racists, constantly looking to divide people based on race, religion, sex and culture.
In their minds, Christianity = western culture = white people = bad. But when it comes down to it, the bullshit they preach is not what they really want. They love their western way of living and will never want to trade it for anything else.
Dems: You are all racists for not wanting illegals in this country.
Trump: Ok, we'll let them come to the cities you live in.
Dems: You are a racist because you want to let them loose in our cities.

Technically easter or Eoster worshippers are germanic pre-christian "pagans", since this was their holiday and celebration of the goddess before the catholic church culturally misappropriated it in the 1st century because...well sex sells and ain't nothing sexy about zombie Jesus. The chocolate, the "spring" celebration, the fertility of it...all come from Eoster.
Christian's are Pascha worshipers which is the correct name for it, but I dare you to find a christian who isn't a theologian and member of the church who knows or calls it that.
Save the history lesson and calling Christians out on their shit because I'm ahead of you. I'll show you a whole country where Christians call it call Paasfees (Paas comes from Pascha or Pesach and fees means festival) so...dare accepted.
As much as I make fun of the shit Christians and anyone who is religious believes in, it's their right to believe in whatever the fuck it is. And if they are being attacked for their believes, it needs to be recognized as that. History is neat, but in 2019 Easter is a Christian holiday.
Also, aside from the churches, several secular luxury hotels were bombed as well at the same time, but let's not let that get in the way of a good anti-christian narrative. I mean look what those fuckers did to Eoster, they even stole her name, dem bishes be crazy yo. You do not come between a christian and their marketing machine, nor a politician and their appeal to a religious member of their base.That would fall under the "tourist" and I don't think anyone has an issue with that.

Democrats have lost their fucking minds. What's the point of this? Are they trying to be inclusive? I'm an atheist, and I'll partake in Easter activities (chocolate egg here, hot cross bun there), but I'm sure as hell not an Easter worshiper...that would be a Christian, who technically also doesn't worship Easter, but the person who Easter is about.

I wish I could've been in the stadium. I was there during the last playoffs against Pittsburgh and it was LOUD in there, I can't imagine what last night was like.

Man that sucks - when I bought the S4 I really wanted the S6 but read all about the turbo problems. Almost pulled the trigger after seeing the ridiculous power they put out with the RS7 turbos. I even looked for one with the swap already done.
It certainly was a bit of a nightmare. As long as I don't have anymore issues, it might be worth it in the end.
I ran into someone locally last week that has a full stage 3 one, he said he dyno'd 650awhp...healthy.

Not really what I did today, but what I've been dealing with for the last 3 months.
January 1st I picked up a new-to-me 2013 Audi S6 with 50k miles on it. 2 weeks later the car started misfiring like a son of a bitch and would not even run or start if the engine was at operating temperature. Car did not throw any codes, so after some head scratching and Google searching figured out that the symptoms point to turbo failure.
As I was doing some research online, I came to find out that this is a massive problem on the 4.0T engines that are found in the Audi S6/S7/RS7/A8/S8 and Bentley Continentals. The issue is an oil filter screen that is placed before the turbos that gets so clogged that no oil reaches the turbos. Poorly designed oil screen combined with the 10k mile oil change interval, these turbies are poppin' like Orville Redenbacher.
Audi actually has a TSB out that proves that they are completely aware of this issue, and that the oil screen needs to be replaced with the latest revision to prevent turbo failure, along with an oil backflow valve and the PCV valve (which is about the size of a shoe box). I tried to fight Audi on this and to get them to fix this at their expensive. Some owners had success where Audi either covered all or a percentage of the repairs. After a bunch of back and forth, towing the car to Audi, they told me to go pound sand since I did not buy the car from an Audi dealer...total bullshit. I reported the issue to the NTSHA. Audi quoted me $10k for parts and labour, btw.
So my options were either replace them with stock S6 turbos or replace them with stock RS7 turbos that bolt right on and cost about the same....

...I went RS7, as well as replacing all the TSB revision/replacement parts and vowing to never go over 5000 miles without getting an oil change.
Once all the new parts were in, next was to get a custom tune so that I'd be able to take advantage of the new, larger turbos. A typical stage 3 setup would include RS turbos, downpipes (gets rid of primary cats) and an upgraded boost cooler...I did not want to go down that rabbit hole, I'd like to keep the car as stock, comfortable and reliable as possible.
I reached out to VAST Performance in Detroit who did a hell of a job on my B5 S4 about 10 years ago and they said that they could do a custom, mild stage 3 tune on it that would not burn up the cats and keep everything nice and reliable.
Here is a Facebook post they made about it.
They did an ECU and TCU tune on it and according to them the ECU is very accurate at reading torque, which says it's making 610ft/lbs on a conservative 22psi. According to them, there is easily another 100ft/lbs waiting there if I decide to do downpipes. The car pulls great, shifts nice and quick, and there is no fucking way anyone can tell it's not 100% stock.
Maybe I'll try to come out and make a couple passes at the track day to see how she runs. Will probably also get her on a dyno just to see what kind of power it's making. Who still has an AWD dyno around on the North side?

Going on 20 years with T-Mo, and slowly everyone I know has switched to them and have been much happier. Good price, good service (sure, if the town barely has electricity then cell service probably isn't so great there), it includes Netflix, you get free SMS & Data when traveling outside of the country (which is the best thing ever), free BOGO inflight wifi, a free taco from Taco Bell on Tuesdays...what's not to like about that.
They also are now on a 600mhz spectrum, which travels further and penetrates buildings better and they are always scoring as the fastest network out there.
I've thought about switching to Fi but the benefits with T-Mo are just too good to drop.

Given the number of times I've been pulled over for having a front plate but just not having it in a way they liked means I don't think she'd make it a year without getting at least one ticket, sadly.
Man, I've been pulled over twice for no front plates in the last 20 years. The last time was because I was leaving a bar and he was hoping to get a DUI out of me. After walking the line, touching the tip of my nose and blowing, I got off with a warning. Perhaps you should stop looking so suspicious all the time!
I'd imagine that they'll start being a little less strict now knowing that it is going away.
I definitely would not put a front plate on that Alfa

Let's talk about issues -
Oil leaks - turbos, valve covers, cam seals - all of which are labor intensive
Timing belts due to poorly sourced parts the first replacement
Plastic Impeller water pumps (should be changed to metal at replacement)
Cam chain tensioners - also a oil leak spot at back of heads
Ball joints in the front suspension (8 total)
Tie rods seizing that then require replacement due to rubber bushings
Front Axle boots tear
auxiliary water pumps fail
I've replaced all these things...and more.
Still <3 my B5 very much

Unlike Kerry and Greg, I'm not so concerned with social injustices...I'm waaaaay more concerned that the "pro-business" President I voted for in 2016 is making some piss-poor decisions for our economy that WILL affect our livelihood.
I'm not having a go at you, but this is something I never understood. People who voted for him because he's a good business person, and the people who voted for him because they can relate to his "every man" or "average joe" ways.
Maybe he looks like a big, successful business man if you watched his reality show, but everything he touched turned to shit. Maybe he gave off different vibes in the 80s, when I was too young to know, and he fixed NYCs skating rink, but I just don't get it.
As for "average joe" ways, there couldn't possibly be any person further away from reality. He is the definition of being born with a silver spoon up his ass.
Social injustices? Jussie Smollett is the prime example of the reality of it all. You have to look pretty hard to find it, or just make it up. Then he gets away with it all on top of that. A friend of mine just had a former employee file a claim against his business for racial, sexual and religious discrimination. He just checked all the boxes I guess, but never mind the fact that he got caught stealing from the company, which is why he got fired. So far he was able to get unemployment pay out of it...not sure why anyone even bothers putting in hard work anymore if you can just play the victim.
