You can turn sense "on/off" on any sense phone, but all it really does is run the android launcher, its mostly only visual. But I would suggest just that, see how you like it first. Right now there aren't any ROMs or tweaks for it yet. A lot of it has to do with sense, since its not open source, but the android part of it can still be tweaked here and there, as well as the kernel. I'm still not convinced on overclocking the snapdragon, people seem to be able to run it fairly stable at 1.1XXghz, but the advantages don't quite yet out weight the risks IMO.

People seem to think that wifi tethering will get locked out for sprint phones once they get the 2.2 update. Knowing verizon, I wouldnt be surprised if they did the same. Maybe not.

I'm rooted, and I'm running Android 2.2 You can run whatever ROM on the phone you want. Or flash add-ons that the phone other wise wouldnt be able to do. For example, want to unlock the screen with the trackball? Sure! Want to make the trackball flash blue for text message, green for email and white for phone calls? Sure! Want to get rid of Sense and run regular android or vice versa, sure! On pre 2.2 it lets you do wifi tethering, apps2sd, enable JIT compilation, all which are now standard on 2.2. It will also make it possible to run apps that will take screen shots and you can overclock the phone.

They were a little more, but they are free if you take them to strip clubs, plus the limo driver can get you anything you need, they have the hookups....and i do mean anything.

BTW, if you're looking for a place to rent a car at the last second. MGM has an avis that will let you do that, all the other places wanted shit booked in advance. Mr Johhny awesome abs () summed it up nicely. The Palms and Rio are pretty nice just from going to the casino's there, not quite on the strip, but close, within walking distance or short cab ride.

I just picked up some Nitto Invo's. Not overly expensive, has good performance, and non-directional. I tested them out on riverside a bit this morning, I LIKE! I loved my 555s, and these are better.

I've always gotten the cheapest rates at expedia.com. Remember if you do a package deal, flight+hotel it turns out much cheaper. I also think its worth staying in a bit of a nicer hotel. We stayed at Ceasars and it was great, they even gave us a free room in a 2X upgraded room because we missed our flight, and even came and picked us up at the airport in a limo for free. Staying somewhere on the strip I would recommend. Excalibur and Mandalay Bay are a bit cheaper and are right on the strip too. But it all just depends on what time of year you are going, and if its a busy week and whatnot. The Ballagio has a bunch of nice restaurants, we ate at a place called Olives and the food and service was excellent. There is also a good restaurant in Ceasars called Nero's, awesome steak. We had the buffet at The Flamingo which was cool, and we wanted to try the buffet at the Ballagio (i think) but the line was ridiculous.
