Yeah I got a chance finally to look up some loads and it's in the ballpark. I was comparing mine with the heavier bullet. I would check the barrel like flounder said. It's extra insurance I case something happens.

Do they have any color to the sights at all? You might try to take a small brush of white paint or even white out to the front siget and see if that will help any.

You prob wouldn't have grenaded it but you can burn up a barrel pretty quick with high pressure loads like that. How many percent load does that book say it is? 25gr of varget I thought was around 95% it more?

It's going to be very different than most preppers. They picked the ones that would make good tv, not the average ordinary guy with a case of mountain house in his garage and a box of ammo. They are going after the people who have gone to the excess on everything.
