  2. Cammed car does not = stock long block.

    Just to set the bar for you I ran back to back 10.78's with a completely stock long block. I never had a valve cover off of the car. (just a little shot of juice)

    How do you plan on pushing the limits with a just a cam. If you wanna push the limits, put a 250 shot of spray on it and see what it does.

  4. nope ended up puttin mine back in an fouind out that it wasent your tranny that was the issue it was a clip on my master cylinder gayyyyy so ur tranyn is actally bad ass but i just dont have the time to swap tranny's again so some one here is going to get a bad ass tranny when they buy it !!!

     

    swap it back and sell yours

  5. I decided to replace my lifters because they are making noise, badly. Well I started working on it today and realized that I'm going to have to pull the heads to do the lifters, unlike most you can't go through the intake. Well I didn't realize this until today. So I'm stuck in the dilema on what to do with the heads when I pull them or considering buying new ones. I have plans to build a completely new motor next year for the T/A but this motor will go into another project. So from those with experience, is it even work doing anything to the stock heads? If I do replace them, any recommendations? This motor will be a cam only motor, no N2O or boost in it's future.

    sellign heads but little pricy not sure how much heads go for ls1s but yea if yoiu arent gonan run this motor all next year i woudlnt bother goin new heads seein as itll sit all winter and you will onyl get to enjoy those heads for the next month and a half...

  7. 1200 for a 1997 yz 250. fmf pipe n silencer, vertex piston, boysen reeds, race tech valving front and rear, fmf springs front, race tech rear spring. then just basic stuff like extra plastic and stuff. could use a little tlc though.

  9. I have two bikes. (that are now old) theyre YZ 250's i havent ridden in a while now though between working, cars, and the girlfriend. it sucks. im about to just sell em both for a little cash and buy a new one.

     

    As far as the Cummins goes. its got 100hp injectors and a 120 horse banks chip. ats triple disk torque convertor and a race application valve body. along with redone kevlar clutches and band and a billet input shaft

    price on said one yz250? selllina tranny here soon to a guy and wouldnt mind picking up another toy again :bangbang:
