  1. American Express blue cash Your get 6% back on grocery purchases. Buy gift cards and buy your appliances through home depot and lowes. Could seem like a nice option. $75 yearly fee however. (Your also get 3% back on all gas and department store purchases).

Citi has a double rewards card where you get 1% at purchase and 1% when you pay it off.

the gift card idea might just work out for the appliances thanks.

Check out The Points Guy on Facebook. He just put out an article o what he things are the current 10 best CC offers.
    will do

My home store of choice is Lowes. I have a Lowes CC and get 5% off everything there so I use it a good bit being a homeowner. They probably just mark everything up 5% but whatever :)
thought this might be the best bet along with doing the change of address coupons. There is a menards home depot and I think lowes near the new place.

Chase sapphire preferred has 40k sign up bonus. I probably have an invite I can send to you.

Whats that equate to in money or?

  2. Guess it depends on the credit score. A lot of the better options will require a good score. Capital one quicksilver is a good card gives 1% back on everything anywhere. Chase Freedom you can 1% on anything or 5% on select purchases (this quarter is grocery stores, starbucks and something else) Changes every quarter. Usually at least 1 is pretty solid. Gas and grocery stores are pretty frequent.

815-830 score. Not worried about getting approved

  3. Just bought a house will be buying ALL NEW appliances and furniture. Teach me the ways to get the best bang for the buck for miles/cash back out of a credit card. I work for discover so i know that game, so what else is out there. Willing to open multiple cards to get the best bang for the buck. APR isant a concern due to the balance being payed off once making the purchase.

    Who/what/why, ready go!

EDIT: 815-830 credt score. Not worried about getting approved

Were you searching for the word voilà, perhaps? Hooked on phonics doesn't even work well for English words, let alone French ones.

But you're not alone, Paul. We've had members posting the word as viola.

Im not even mad, not a care in the world. Ok let me try this response instead of the initial one. Put in a offer and BOOM SHAKALAKA was accepted. :fuckyeah:

  5. Because its for wanna-be's who think their truck is "fast" or "badass"... GTFO.

Truck owners who use their trucks are fine. Towing, hauling, getting chores done that require a truck.

The people who don't use them as trucks usually add retarded lifts, stupid useless tires, loud annoying exhausts, etc. just to show how small they are and how much their "badass truck" makes up for said lack of whatever.

99% of these piles never see anything but paved roads. You can easily spot them with their chromed out wheels with little bitty rubber band tires, CB radio antennas without the CB radio, loud/glass pack exhausts, silicone balls hanging on the pintle hitch that has never been hooked to any trailer (and most don't even know what a pintle hitch is/is used for), and lifts for no reason (other than to look down on everyone) are usually a tell tale sign that you are looking at a poser with his "badass" truck.

Its as bad as Honda kids putting fart cans on their stock D series Honda IMO.

But hey, if you want to take a part that doesn't rust or fall off in 220k miles and replace it with some POS system that will rust off in 5 years, that's up to the owner. I can say from experience, my fenders will fall off the truck before the stock exhaust will.

This might be the dumbest thing ive read all day. Just because its a truck means its "ricer" to put an exhaust on it? lol

So was it rice to put an exhaust of your supra? Im sure thats LOUD as all hell , yet thats ok? Makes no sense.

Doesnt matter what vehicle it is, its not you driving it, you live up in canton anyways you wont ever hear the truck.

If the OP wants to do it then great he asked for suggestions on what to get, not some bs.

  6. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

I've taken particular pleasure in the fact that I can get the back end loose with some throttle. (I haven't had that since the Z06, and I forgot how much I missed it.) There's something invigorating about having a car right on the edge of being out of control.

Let's hope my next thread isn't: My Daily Driver caught on fire

    Fixed for you.
