  1. That seems like reasonable mileage to me. Check this out for some real world mileage. http://www.fuelly.com/motorcycle/suzuki/sv650s looks like you are on the high end for 2005s. Interesting how the mileage seems to be substantially better on some of the newer models. Also, I really wouldn't say 47mpg is bad. My KLR gets about 46 on average, my duc gets around 40, only my 80cc 2 stroke scooter gets as high as 68mpg.
  2. Over at Assfaultjunkies people are talking about this a lot more. Don't you guys want to be cooler than the Jugalos over there? http://www.assfaultjunkies.com/showthread.php?24182-Ladie-s-First-Grattan-And-Electric-Eye-Images/page2
  3. If you were in Michigan it would be better for this, but you'd also need a bike.
  4. <crickets>...... So...... did we scare all the females on OR away then? Or just the track riding females.
  5. Guys and Gals, I'm proud to announce that Electric Eye images will be a sponsor at the Ladies first track day this year at Grattan. Here is the link to the FB event. https://www.facebook.com/events/144694015718194/ This is an event that Christi Bambeck Midlam has been putting on for several years with the support of sport bike track time. Any ladies want an opportunity to go and ride with nothing but other females. That's right, I said nothing but other girls on track all day. When was the last time you were at a track day with more than 2 girls there. This event has drawn as many as 60 females in the past. Check out the FB event and go sign up at sport bike track time. It's a heavily discounted day and Christi does a great job getting sponsors together to give away free swag. Guys feeling left out? Don't worry, Come support your lady on Friday July 5th and then Ride on the 6th and 7th. Sportbike Track Time will be there all weekend. ElectricEyeImages will be there on the 5th and 6th but will have to scoot down to putnam on the 7th. please visit www.electriceyeimages.com for track day photos and like us on facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/ElectricEyeImagescom/109997875752122?ref=tn_tnmn

  7. So maybe $2200 would be fair for this one? Just curious. One day I might need to have one of these.
  8. Bump, if I had some spare cash I'd throw my hat in the ring. Those things are cool. I am curious. what kind of money do you have in mind? What kind of money do these bring complete?
  9. probably half what you paid for it. I went through this, finding someone to buy it back from you is tough. That's what the market will want to pay you if you have paperwork proving it's quality, something like a GIA certification.
  10. Www.fuelly.com. See what others are getting real world. I'm vw151 on there. If it makes you feel any Bette my v6 dakota barely gets 15mpg. I did see an increase with new plugs, wires cap and rotor though.
  11. I've seen a couple dirt bike videos done with software like this. Put the jumps in slow motion. Neat stuff.
  12. Did you do this in software?
  13. I think you should reset his post count to zero
  14. My friend Rick helped me fix the KLR yesterday. So.... more pictures. BTW, ended up just doing 1 helicoil and drilling by hand since the threads on the other three holes looked good. Way easier than pulling the head. Original Threads in a different hole, for comparison Helicoil threads.
  15. I realize I'm way late. But I think Rossi will be the 2nd coming of Rossi.
  16. That's why we are pulling the head, just gonna do all 4 bolt holes. The guys on KLR650.net all said the same thing, I guess these heads are notorious for this.
  17. I have no idea. the KLR650.net guys say this is a known issue that occures often. Most people just helicoil all 4 when this happens.
  18. A friend is gonna help me next week. We are gonna pull the head off so we can do it with a drill press.
  19. I've never actually used one but I've heard enough about them to know this was likely the time to use it. I may consult an expert for help putting it in.
  20. Yep, helicoil or re tap a bigger diameter. Not sure what kind of bolts are available in the next larger thread. Definitely don't want to replace the head if I don't have to.
  21. Well, the threads in the head of my KLR are gone after my friend was riding my KLR yesterday. I'll have to figure out how to get new threads.
  22. I'd say your 2nd statement contradicts your first statement. Sorry man, it's time to accept who you are. Nice find Ben.
  23. We haven't heard from him. He quit, then he requested having his account deleted. What's funny is, 39 pages of childish back and forth about all kinds of dumb shit and then a little picture starts floating around on the forum and facebook and he gets pissed and looses it.
  24. I don't know, we have a ball busting thread over at desmohio that is 40 pages long, all kinds of nonsense. After 39 pages he quit the forum. This is another picture that contributed. At least Clint took it in stride. One of our members thought since they both kept making so many dick sucking jokes that they were meant for each other.
