No, redneck hillbillies call each other bubbies.
Hold up! Rednecks or hillbillies. Not redneck hillbillies. You’re either one or the other.

Spruce knob good. Spruce lake bad, don’t go that way. Fayetville new river gorge bridge on 82 cool if never seen, otherwise stay out of fayetteville and Summersville. 19 is split 4 lane Harley road. Seeing Seneca rocks sucks, it’s just rocks from a distance unless u like hiking. Highly recommend hacker valley area.

well... I tried on many gloves. Left undecided. Bought the above for $12 figuring they might suck but could use the for the quad if so. They work, comfortable, and actually weather, wash well, and have protection in the right spots. Decent glove. Don’t let the price fool you.

The intercom can be turned on and off with a button. Or turn on the VOX and it activates with your voice.
But do you have to press a button to talk each time or no? (If not in vox mode.)

The Sena has a VOX setting. But I never use it.
Why would u need VOX if you’re on intercom mode? Or do you have to press a button to talk in intercom mode?

Dang it. fcc won’t allow vox on cb or GMRS channels because you can jam the channel for miles. So it’s PTT only.
This be ok though. But not for your passenger.

See, that’s the crazy part to me. Even in the 80s we had pocket sized CB radios. You would think that technology would be developed to the point that it was super small and voice activated.
I might have to hold off until the technology catches up with my expectations.l
I think there are VOX two way radio headsets but I ain’t seen any yet purposely for helmets. It’s have to ignore a lot of noise or we’d tie up the frequency band with garbage. And there’s FMR, GMRS, and then cb bands to think about. I think GMRS is the band your Walmart type walky talky uses . CB is citizens band. breaker breaker 19, where u at Marlboroman. It’d be cool to have that cb band linked as a box headset if the headset can multi task and play music from your phone et cetera.

They do. It’s called a phone call.
I’m assuming these things all work on the same frequency and if so, interconnectivity should be a breeze. I would think that they would have to work to make them not interconnectable.
“BLUe tooth” connection was the word I forgot. It’s a Bluetooth connection between units. Which has limited range. Our iPhones can do that Bluetooth intercom with a push to talk deal. Otherwise you’re right, we could just do a group conference call but we’d be dropping calls all the time in the sticks. Which is why I kinda like the citizens band option but again that’s push to talk so it all sucks although they make nice little handle bar buttons you mount near the grip. .

There seems to be an obvious marketing move with these intercoms to purposely make them only intercom connectable with the same brand. Although that seems to be changing as there’s a Sena that has universal connectivity. They do make two way (cb band) headsets with better range but it’s push to talk and the cb radio needs to be in your pocket or somewhere. Not sure why there’s no app for your iPhone to have intercom capabilities without the annoying push to talk.
