  1. Huh? the link you sent says this.

How do I obtain Motorcycle License or Endorsement? Top

Contact a driver's license examination station to make an appointment for the on-cycle examination. No fee is charged for this test. The examination stations are located in the back of the Motorcycle Operators Manual.

You must bring a street legal motorcycle to the examination site and you must wear a helmet and eye protection during the test.

After you have passed the On-Cycle Test, the examiner will fill out and validate the blue copy of the driving permit from your packet. The blue permit, red permit, and your drivers license (if you have one) must be presented to the license agency to receive your motorcycle license or to add a motorcycle endorsement to your current valid license. A fee is charged for issuing this new license.

If you are 16 or 17 years old, you must show proof of completing all GDL requirements and a motorcycle safety course before you are eligible to take the On-Cycle Test, to obtain a motorcycle license or endorsement.

If you are 18 years old or above, you are not required to complete either course to take the On-Cycle Test. However, completion of the motorcycle course will help provide you with the skills to pass the test

You wouldn't think they would say the "however" part if the course got u out of taking the test at the DMV?

  2. I went to the link above and read a little. If you are under 18 you have to take this Motorcycle ohio course then take the Dmv test. If you are over 18 you don't have to take the course and you can just go take the Dmv riding test. The course that i'm apparently now getting the hose on allows you to spend $300 bucks and not have to take the test at the DMV. Yep i'm still getting hosed but i gues i won't have to wait in line at the DMV as long. Damn girlfriend and i already prepaid. I think i would have just did the ohio course. This is the link to the rip off, get out of riding at the DMV course. http://nm.msf-usa.org/msf/ridercourses.aspx

  3. cant bet learning how to ride and get your lic for $25....

It's costing us $300 each? I get $75 off thru honda because i bought a new bike but where the heck is there a course for $25? The one we are taking is 4 days long at the Hardley Dealer and two days of it we get to ride Beull's. Then if you pass the course you don't have to take the test at the DMV you just show them your certification. I already have my endorsement form way back but you can never be too safe.

  4. Where did you guys get the tail light kit for the Sv. or did you wire the lights your self? I think i could do it with that trailer light kit for cars with amber lighting or a diode on each wire? At least I think i could?

  5. You get a "star" for being the first to notice the motif.

And, like, OMG, did you see how that ugly carpet clashes with the light sky blue countertop. :supergay:

You like that? See how I steered us back on topic.

    lmao

  6. YES. Wow, somebody finally got it. I am a big homer fan and have a perfect avatar but CAN'T LOAD IT. Maybe someday. Everyone loved him after he changed his name to Max Power.

Man, I never knew you watched t.v.? Your always out toolin around in the garage or on Craigslist shopping. P.S. those Iron Pony Inmotion levers didn't fit the Sv to good. i had to grind the clutch one and the brake doesn't deactivate the brake switch all the time? Might go OEM.

  7. Stuck at home sick w/the nicest weather since last year and a 06 599 sitting in the house with 4 miles on it. My stupid cat has more seat time than i do on it. ucker's going to end up in the :microwave:..

Just getting back into the bike thing. Well sort of. If you call riding a 185 Twinstar daily off & on for years 12 years ago a bike thing. Pretty cool site and reads.
