I think I'd agree with that logic, now that you mentioned it. I recently moved the safe to the basement. Never plugged the heater in yet. I'd say it's slightly more damp down there. Guess I could test this theory and re-charge the desicant, see how long it takes to turn pink, then re-charge again, with heater on, and see how long it takes to turn pink again. Side note, there are spots of rust forming on the desicant can?

Desiccant can works well or a eletric heater. Put a pieces of foam adhesive weather stripping along the bottom inside rail of your gun safe is a good idea. It normally has a sharp edge I never failed to bump the stock on when removing guns
  6. Sportsmans Guide has a $4.99 flat rate shipping for orders over $99. Not sure how long it lasts.

  8. Are you a Democrat, a Republican, or a Southerner? Here is a little test that will help you decide. The answer can be found by posing the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife, and charges at you... You are carrying a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do? 9. Ya, I don't know. 30-30's are like fat chicks with a pretty face. You can't really do much with them and they're expensive to feed.

All I know is most vehicles that call the last gear "over drive", the manual states to not run it in over drive when towing. Like early Ford E4OD tranny use to quit prematurely, especially if towing and not taking it out of overdrive. It was junk to begin with, I think they fixed that though. I wouldn't tow with a Chrysler product but I wouldn't own a Chrysler either.
  11. Never heard of this. My father just found out he has prostate cancer. Starting 45 days of chemo soon. All I know is it's beatable. I hope it is.

  14. Pretty slick, cheap, and easy. I like it. Been looking for something to hang steel from lately and this beats welding a frame of scrap metal together.

Dude, I've ran 80-90 for long periods of time, bursts of 100ish before. Way too much fear mongering about little wheels. Use high temp DISC brake wheel bearing grease, I don't use anything less on any wheel bearing. (Disc brake type because Disc brakes get hot as f*ck) Make sure they're packed correctly. Bearing buddies are only for use after the bearings have been greased properly. Older cars with tapered wheel bearings, like trailer wheel bearings, go tens of thousands of miles without issues. If a bearing fails it's due to dirt or the hubs not tight enough or to loose, if greased properly with good seals.

  17. Side topic, What is that? 2 pieces of rebar? stuck in the ground with a bungee cord, holding a piece of steel?

Smaller wheels under 60mph is a myth. I have hauled ass, long distances, with tiny trailer tires for years. Just make sure you know how to properly grease bearings, with the proper grade grease, if you do it yourself.
  19. They ship them to mexico.
