'Nother idea I'd thrown out was a brewery tour of Great Lakes Brewing Co, over in Cleveland. Maybe combine it with a lakeside run as well

1st idea I'll throw in here for discussion will be GoJira's Castle tour

Place to brainstorm ride ideas, until we decide on each definite one, & it then separates into it's own specific planning thread

That's funny Sam.....When I posted about the alpine slides last week, I remember that one of those times we went, we also ended up at a castle that was near the slide. I'm guessing it was somewhere near Belfountaine as well I'd be curious to see more of what you got about that. Bikes & castles......Sounds like a good day to me!!

Roger.....Same thing I was thinkin'! I'll second this motion. All in favor of Friday the 13th's bein' our "official" club holiday........ Has always "unofficially" been the case....Check most pix of me (Peace & the Shocker, dinner @ the Warehouse, & Xenia 2 Wheel Tuesday all come to mind in the albums)I'll 2nd this motion as well. All in favor............ Speakin' of which.....Anyone in favor of another 2 Wheel Tuesday this summer? Even if it's just hangin' out & watchin'

Not to mention the thousands of dollars of suspension work I've heard they did to those Wings, and the fact that they ride the Dragon continuously. We know somebody who knows them.....but for the life of me I'm drawin' a blank right now who it is???

I could argue that the Sport Touring/Gran Touring/Hyper Touring bikes are the best all around bike....Not the 750, though I do think that's a great "tweener" bike as well. Handles more like a 600, with almost as much power as 1000 The big bikes are comfortable for bigger guys.....Not sure I'd be very comfy on a litre bike for very long, even though I would love to have a Repsol someday. Can't see myself doing some of the longer trips I do now on a smaller bike. XX, Busa, ZX14 give you almost as much handling/performance, but like you said......You can strap some soft luggage on & ride 500-700 miles without too much discomfort, & still carve the twisties way more than on a Gold Wing. If you wanna take it one notch further toward the touring, & less sport, then you move to the FJR, Connie, ST1300 etc Unless your really slight of build, I don't think the same can be said about litre bikes & below. Just ask Josun about our Pitt trip.....He was dyin' on his 600 by the time we got home, and refused to go on the Jim Beam ride, 'cause it was even longer DING!! Fries are done

Haaa! We better enjoy it while we can boys....We actually have more members than them right now!! Yeah......I heard midway on signing day by ESPN's analyst that he had us ranked about 15th for our recruiting class. Then later that night, my son said we'd moved up to 10th.....right behind OSU!! I thought that was pretty funny after the season they had....And the one we had! Saw them interview RichRod that afternoon, & MAN he looked bleary eyed.....Like he'd been up all night tryin' to make stuff happen
