There are plenty of people who find those attributes desirable. I'll go back & re-read, but IIRC, Matt didn't mention track use as one of his deciding factors. Again....Not everybody is as singularly focused on that aspect of riding as you LizzAs far as Honda being behind in aftermarket products....I'll definately concede that point to you. Though not mechanical/tuner/race bits, I think it's a sad situation that Joe Rocket finally had to get involved for there to be a decent selection of gear/apparel....And even then, I've spoken to vendors who say Honda gives JR fits nit picking little details like size/placement of logos etc. Before JR got involved though, didn't seem like you could find much Honda gear at all And therein lies part of my point.....You're so entrenched in your point of view, that unless I'm being paid for it, I usually won't spend this much of my time on something. God forbid you walk away first or let somebody have the last word, ehhhh?!? I assure you....This isn't my idea of fun. I'm actually pissed at myself about how much time I've spent on this. Which is why I usually just let it go....Not because of my "weak disposition" as you were potentially referring to above I think I started my initial post by saying you may be completely different in person than I read you online We all need all the friends we can get! Unless you say something else here that "ruffles my feathers".....I'm done with this & going back to my formerly perceived "weak disposition"

He was on an episode of "Family Jewels" last season IIRC, and I was surprised then by how ripped he'd gotten since last I'd seen him. Even more evident in this shot....He used to be the skinny twig dufus

This is a current example of what I meant when I said it's not worth the aggravation to argue with Lizz.....These are the lengths you must be prepared to go to/Time you must be prepared to invest out of your day. To me...It's just easier to let it go most of the time. Matt's original post in black....Lizz's response in red , for those who didn't read it in the other thread.......

Call me another Honda owner lookin' to "spoon" I guess. Lizard you obviously do a lot of track time, and seem to have considerable knowledge from working in the motorcycle industry.... But do you realize how much of a know-it-all you come off as? I thought he was pretty clear from the get go that he wanted to strip all the aftermarket parts & sell them in the secondary market....Thereby selling the bike in fairly stock condition. He then repeated that intention several times over while you became further entrenched in your argument about how he would never get $11k for the bike/goodies I understand you were tryin' to be helpful....But you come on VERY strong... especially when someone disagrees with you! And since when is a CBR 600 considered "less than desirable" or however you put it? And not everybody is solely focused on "Balls to the Wall", hardcore, track riding like you are. There ARE other styles out there some of us enjoy equally Matt.....If you haven't been disillusioned by this site yet......Stick around. My vote would be to go with the new 1kRR. Every mag I've read absolutely loves it. Basically tied for first in MotorCyclist or SportRider with the ZX10.....They call it best all around bike & it turned the fastest lap time on the track 'ta boot. Also earned "Most likely to succeed" honors. They say weight to power is amazing, and handles like a 600! Sounds like you've done most everything you want on the 600 without going anymore major coin.....So now may be a good time to trade up. Good luck, whatever your decision!

HOLY SHIT BATMAN!!! I'll go out on the limb with 'ya here Mikey. Bein' the new guy on the board....Only here a few months now....I learned very quickly that there is no arguing with Liz. Maybe he's totally different in person, but I find most of his posts seem to be very aggressively stating his opinion on the topic at hand. There doesn't seem to be any tolerance, gray area, or humor....It's his way or none.....Those who agree with him, & the rest who are wrong. As a newer member who doesn't know him....It makes me avoid conversations he's involved in, as the argument's not worth the aggravation I learned a long time ago.....Nobody likes a braggart or a know-it-all
