It's unbelievable how much Goldwings hold their value. I saw an old '82 or '83 that reminded me of my dad's old one, a couple years ago at Thiels' Wheels in Upper. When I inquired how much it was out of curiosity, I about fell over. IIRC, it was like $3k.... For a 25 year old bike!!

I think the insinuation is that these discounts may have been cutting into someone else's business/$$ on here as a supplier/wholesaler/sales rep, so that person felt threatened & used their contacts behind the scenes to put a stop to it

Agreed.... Even though time & hindsight have proven him wrong & shown there were no weapons.... He still thinks it's OK that he permanently paralyzed an innocent person because of his mistaken judgement, & the fact that he brags about getting letters from former people he's pulled over also shows he still thinks he's a good cop
