I got a VM from BenYen around 7:15 tonight, that I finally just got a chance to listen to. His unit is busing home from New Jersey tonight at midnight he said, and he was inquiring/wondering about setting something up with the Patriot Guard possibly?? Unfortunately, had my son's graduation & reception tonight, & listened to his VM so late it killed what was left of this evening for planning, & they'll probably be home by mid morning. Unless it's not a straight shot & there are a lot of layovers, a'la Greyhound/charter

Whenever I start to get a little panicked about what's going on, I keep coming back to the fact that so many of our states, & countries of the world, are deeply interdependent upon each other now. This 'aint like the old days with our isolationist policy & the oceans acting as natural boundaries. This blue marble is getting increasingly smaller all the time. Therefore I have hope that WWIII will be avoided, as Mother Russia & China now have a voracious appetite for our Levis & McDonalds, along with our consumption of Asian cars, anything at Walmart, etc, & I especially think we're long past the days where a Civil War can break out.... Except maaaybeee for Texas or California, because of their proximity to Mexico, large populations, & hispanic influences. I guess Alaska could split too, since they're all alone up there in Canada anyways.... But they don't strike me as unhappy rabblerousers On the flip side.... I still say all it would take is for China to downgrade our credit rating, thereby raising our interest rate on all the $$ we owe them..... And they could take us over without a shot ever fired

Gotcha.... I can agree with all that.... She's definitely her own person, unique. Janis Joplin... My wife said the same exact thing. I get the hippie part of it, but voice & face.... Nahhh. Janis was reeeeally homely, & had more of a bluesy, folksy, just drank a quart of Johnny Walker & smoke a pack of cigs voice

What exactly do you mean by "She's not as commercial" Shawn, & what makes Lee moreso?? Because she's a singer/songwriter, & he's just a coverboy?? Don't normally watch American Idol, but had to tonight of course, to root for the Toledo girl. Gimme a break.... NO WAY Lee was better than Crystal! Her range is PHENOMENALLY better than his.... He sounds the same on every song & can't hit any higher notes. I'll bet $10 Crystal goes farther in her music career than he EVER does. On a sidenote.... Anyone else think Janet sounded JUST like Michael tonight???

3 DVD set was $20 at Dunham's I'm planning on splitting each DVD into 2 half hours at first, until I get in better shape #1 An uninterrupted hour's hard to come by for me #2 This will double the program variety for me, for awhile anyways, until I hopefully build up to the hour Talks about sets of punches, kicks, squats, lunges, pushups, etc Best shape I was ever in was back when I took Tae Kwon Doe. Wife had multiple successes w/ Tae Bo too
