  1. It's open, there are no firewall between the driver and the rear where the battery is. It would only be tucked behind an interior panel.
  2. That's what I originally thought but with my searches on ls1tech, they say it still needs to be in a box
  3. I'm relocating the battery to the rear in the Trans Am and trying to see if anyone of all these f-body guys knows of a sealed and vented box for the battery that fits in the spare tire well. I have an optima battery and thought that I could go with a BMR style box but that doesn't seem to be the approved way at the track.
  4. I work across the highway from it and only noticed it Saturday after a coworker mentioned that he saw it on his way in.
  5. I believe the still had trouble with the rear wheel bearing going out often.
  6. Mine was straight piped when I got it and I have to differ on the being to loud. I don't think that it's loud at all, you can just hear the turbo but other than that, it's not modded.

  8. I will try and get a picture in a few, but on the bottom side of the frame on the passenger side of my 2000 Trans Am there is a black plastic tube that looks like it has a plastic vacuum line that comes out of it and going into the wiring harness. It is sitting next to the horns. Anyone know what it is and how to disconnect it? I'm trying to move the wiring harness and the piece it to large to move. I tried pulling the tube but I don't want to break it if it is important.
  9. Congrats ray, I'm sure it was a hell of a rush
  10. 4000 this weekend only before I put new tires on it.
  11. When I went with student tickets the person I bought them from did the same thing since I wasn't a student and they ended up check ID's but I don't understand the point since they didn't care that they weren't our ID's.
  12. I have the pod15 in gloss black and I'm sure its enough for what you need if it will work. I work in the mornings up off of sawmill and can bring it with me if your interested.
  13. I bought some from the Sherwin Williams in Whitehall off of Main Street. They sell automotive paint there. How much do you need I know I have some left but I'll have to check and see how much.
  14. I can do that, I see you are from Amanda, I drive down 159 all the time and will probably be tomorrow if you want to meet up
  15. Looks like the core charge on most of the built one is 1k and that is if they even have it, so it doesn't look like it would be worth it.
  16. Anyone ever change their system time, login and then change it back? Use to work at my old job. The boss got on me about being a few minutes late each day, from then on I wasn't.
  17. That's the reason I know I can have it out in 30 minutes. Let me do so research to see what headache I may be getting myself into. And to the pm's that I've received I'll let you know what I decide then we can talk about how much.
